Raonic-Roddick rematch? The Memphis one was pretty tight. But yeah... not a great draw for Milos! It'll be a tall order just to defend his points.

Roger's quarter seems the easiest. Nole's the hardest.

I say that Murray's the hardest followed by Djokovic. No argument from me with Federer having the easiest quarter but Nadal's quarter is also manageable.

I'm going to go ahead and make a prediction for an early "upset" of Tomic over Verdasco.

Anyone else see anything notable here upset-wise with the seeds?

I guess Murray and Jo could have some problems, too.

Really? His immediate section doesn't have any huge threats. But could Dolgopolov be a problem in the fourth round. Where I think his biggest problem is, is that he has the biggest "floater" in the draw potentially lined up for the quarters: Juan Martin Del Potro. I think that's who all of the big four would have been most hoping to avoid in their quarter. (Having said that, he lost to Granollers, Tsonga and Blake last fall, but he's got to get back to top-five (at least) form soon, right?)

Agree about Murray. Could have Monfils and Tsonga back-to-back just to get to the SF. Harrison is probably not a great guy to open with either, just because of the volatility.

Since Murray will have to be at his best to take out Tsonga, Harrison might be the perfect opener. He has the talent to take a set but probably not the self belief to win. He could get Murray fired up without draining his energy.

I agree Murray's draw is the most difficult. The court might explode from all the f-bombs that will be dropped in that first round match.

From what I've seen and heard, self-belief is not an area Harrison needs to work on. But Murray's well ahead of him in terms of fitness and technique. If he can just avoid sleeping funny through the next week...

Nah both his and Nadal are equally easy

Nole and Fed are in separate halves for the first time in years..it seems that way, anyway.
Not what you are asking, but since 2005, Roger and Rafa were not in the same half.

I'd agree if Delpo had done something at Sydney, but his straight set loss to Baghdatis doesn't look promising.

Nah both his and Nadal are equally easy
Lets look at it:
R-1, both open against qualifiers.
R-2, Rafa probably gets Haas, Rog, A. Beck
R-3, Rafa vs Ljubicic, Rog vs Melzer IF he gets that far
R-4, Rafa vs Lopez or Isner, both hard servers; Roger vs Dolgo or Verdasco who have done nothing.
1/4, Rafa vs Berdych, tough match. Fed vs Delpo (who lost to BAghs in straights) or Fish who's been disappointing so far.

I stand by my idea. They may not be far apart, but Rafa's is a tad harder.

Still disagree because some of possible Nadal 's opponents have done nothing too.

Haas, Ljubicic old veterans coming back from injuries. Lopez a hard server ? it is not like he is good on hard court. Isner will only push Rafa to a tiebreak or two. Dolgopolov was just in Brisbane final last week. Tomic has been playing well recently. Who knows which Del Potro will turn out.

Totally, but that's probably because I have Stebe as my WC pick.

And Haase could also be a pretty tough out.
Yeah, first he has to beat Haase--I don't even know if I see him doing that.
They played here last year. It wasn't that close. If he loses first round, I'd take it as a sign that we won't be seeing much more of him.

As a fan of American tennis, this draw really sucks, except for dreamy John's...

Dang, if Roddick beats Hewitt his reward is Raonic and he beats Raonic, his reward is the world #1. Not looking good for him here. I was actually hoping for a Raonic Djokovic match here but not anymore.
And Haase could also be a pretty tough out.
