Thanks, Moose - I added it above. The WTA forgot about it, too

Moose the stream was lousy but Oprandi kept drop shotting Kim and Kim was almost lackadaisical about the whole thing. Didn't see any of the first set but saw the entire second set. At one point Oprandi drew Clijsters in and then casually, and I mean casually, lobbed her.

A competitor never likes to lose but even the commentator mentioned Kim's seeming lack of interest.

I couldn't watch, but found these updates on twitter:

http://twitter.com/#!/GraveyardFilip (Filip Dewulf)

Clijsters close to abondening vs Oprandi after stumbling in 2d game and not running 100% since. 6-7, 0-3. Not looking good for #Wimbledon

Clijsters doubting between trying and letting go. Painful to watch. Should not play on one leg. Oprandi doesn't know what to do. 6-7, 2-4

Clijsters fights until the end but not good enough. Tennis, body and belief. 6-7, 3-6. Doesn't look good.

So I'm confused. Which was it? Kim was hurt? Or Kim didn't care? Or some strange combination of the two?

Dry I didn't see the first set which was won by Oprandi 7-6(5). If she played the way she did due to concern about her foot then I'm wrong. But based on what the commentators were saying she was really not into the match.

I really hope she's not hurt.

Sidebar: If she's not hurt, the last time her form was this horrible going into a major was the year she made the Roland Garros final and lost a heartbreaker to Jenny Cap.

Clijsters teary-eyed in press conference says 'the' ankle is bothering her. Didn't get better after medication

Clijsters: 'Pain isn't as bad as when it first happened (at wedding), so I hope tests will say it's not too bad

Too bad about the ankle, but I am also wondering about the motivation. I don't think it was ankle which led to that horror show against Rus at Roland Garos...
