Very interesting matchups today. How is Murray doing, anyway? I hate to see people play injured.

WOW, Maria is schooling Petkovic!

I expected Maria to win but 6/0 1/0 so far on CLAY was not what I expected.

Ouh, a game for Petkovic! Is Sharapova playing incredible tennis, or is Petkovic nervous? Anybody watching the match who could tell me what's going on there?

Na Li never ceases to amaze me. And I mean that in both a good Na and a bad Na way.

I watched the first set and Petko was hitting the ball everywhere but in the court.

Both. Maria's playing smart. Petko's missing

It's those little details that make such a difference…

Now it seems Petkovic is hitting a higher percentage of her shots in the court, causing her to accrue points which in turn are improving her odds of winning games.

Tennis!

I picked her to win this match and she is doing just that.

Still surprised at Maria/Andrea.

It seems Andrea cannot hold serve but able to break Maria in the second.

I'm at work, and unable to watch, but looking at the match stats, it looks like Li has played a good match, M8 - 21 winners to 16 UEs, only 5 BPs so far (and she saved 3 of them). Is that incorrect?

Li could not buy a match win post-AO, and now she is in her third straight semi. Would love to see her get to another Slam final.

Wow, both matches were really quick! What are the weather conditions like today? Is it still windy, or better than yesterday?

One more hour of work and I can watch too!!

Ha, this year's women's semi finalist have an average age of 27.25 years!
I just read in 1990 the average was 17.75! (okay, with Seles at 16 and Capriati at 14...)

Still, that's almost 10 years difference!

And the average mental age of the losing women's semifinalists is 8.12 years.

Oh Victoria. I'm not surprised, she's developed a mental issue with Na.What frustrates me is how well Vika's played this spring and how typical Na has played; she'll probably go awol during the summer again like she did this past spring. Oh well, it's not like clay is Vika's best surface.

.....As I just posted on Facebook:

YES, it's another thrilling day courtesy of the WTA.

Azarenka yet again underachieves? A "hot" regular tour at-non-Slam-tournaments-player yet again freezes up? YEP- it must be Wednesday.
