Fognini looks a lot thinner than last year. And yet he's cramping. Hey, house call from the chair umpire as fognini was hanging out at the baseline with his cramp. She basically talked him into getting medical attention.
I've never seen anything like that. What was she thinking?
No he asked for it. He landed odd, cramped, stretched, stalled, then asked for the trainer. They showed her talking into her mic, then she went and told him that the trainer was on the way. It was already done when she got off her chair.

The director came with the trainer to explain that if it's a cramp and not an injury he has to play on. Fognini said he knew that. The trainer said it was just a cramp, but he'd rub cream on his leg for only 30 seconds. It lasted much longer than that, then he rubbed it off with a towel. Then Fognini had an extended conversation with the trainer, then slowly strolled back to the service line.

He's a vile man.

People are saying this was against the rules and blaming Louise Engzell, the umpire. I don't see why. She gave him a time violation warning before coming over

Is anyone watching the Fed v. Stan match? It looks like Fed is down a break in the third. Anything to be concerned about?

LMAO. This umpire was also in the Chair for Serena USO 2009. Footfaults follow her

Go Rog.

In other news, I officially cannot stand to watch that Kate Winslet/Aishwarya Rai Longines commercial one more time.
That commercial is the worst acting Kate Winslet has ever done. Super annoying
I'm with ya. I figured it wasn't really Kate Winslet because it's so painful to watch.

I also hate the Lacoste timeline one. Each slam has one or two incredibly annoying commercials. I'm surprised we don't have a thread for them.
Who is the Asian chick in that commercial? And I agree, it is a very poorly executed commercial considering the talent involved.

Okay, I didn't see him request the trainer.

This match is nuts. Surely Montanes can't lose?
