Do we think that Djokovic/Del Potro requested to go third? When they came off court the commentator I was listening to said that it would be the 2nd match on. Though she may just have assumed that would be the case.

I don't remember EVER seeing a held over match in a major being put anywhere but second on a court. It took me longer to find them in the OOP because I was only looking at the first two schedule matches on the show courts. Then I went lower and found them third on their court. Was struck by it.

I thought it was an actual rule to put an unfinished match second on, but I guess not

Not seeing anything in the ITF Grand Slam Rulebook about OoP following a suspended match (but I may not be using the right keywords). Interesting to see that there's a rule re warming up, though:

In the case of a suspended or postponed match, the period of re-warm-up shall be as
follows:
0-15 minutes delay - No re-warm-up
15-30 minutes delay - Three (3) minutes re-warm-up
30 or more minutes delay - Five (5) minute re-warm-up Also, I didn't know there was a rule about "visible obscenity." ... the urge to take cheap shots at certain players' kits is attempting to rear up.

Carillo and Navratilova are a bad combo to have in the booth. So far the two have been nonstop bitching about a whole bunch of issues relating to everything from tennis to badminton.

What's happening with Murray? I'm in a car, not watching. Know he sprained an ankle and them dropped serve at love.

Never mind - forgot I have the Roland Garros app.

Is anyone watching tennis in 3D today? Does it require a 3D tv?

Yeah, I missed the Murray match but people are saying he was hurt? How'd he still win in 3 on a sprained ankle?

Mardy appears to be pulling a Roddick with the umpire, lasting over several games. Can't hear what they're saying, but the crowd is booing.

NBC actually picked up where TTC left off. I'm shocked.

Went over on his ankle when sliding in - pretty nasty when you see it on the replay. They stopped play to get the ankle/foot heavily taped.

Up until that point Murray had always been on top but Berrer was spirited and hanging in. There were a lot of lengthy rallies - it was a fun match to watch.

After that, it was probably the classic case of the injured player going for their shots more and the person at the other end becoming less certain/focused. As a result, the points became much shorter.

BBC Scotland reporter said that Berrer admitted to him that he deliberately didn't hit many drop shots after the injury (prior to that he was using them quite a lot, with a fair amount of success). I don't think Murray would have reciprocated had the situation been reversed!

Was a much better performance by Murray than in the first 2 rounds.

Co-sign. Except that I'm still pissed that all of the DIRECTV options have closed down for the day.

Wow, first time I've heard a pro tennis player actually say that!

Thanks! Yeah, I heard Berrer said he felt sorry for Murray. Poor sucker.

Maybe Berrer was scared of the crowd reaction
