Goin to bed early tonight http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...es/biggrin.png

Maribellin 05-23-2011 07:20 PM

You better cheer loud and long. I took her in the SP just for you.

I have to feel bad for Jarmilla here. The crowd is going to go absolutely crazy. That said, I will be staying up and rooting wildly for Razzano.

Going to be hard to watch either way http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...lies/frown.png

Oh lord. Not even sure I could ever do that.

Bill-Watson 05-23-2011 08:55 PM

And I feel obligated to remind you that she's won all of once this year.

She's already made it to 3-3, salmon. We're rootin' for her http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...ilies/wink.png

MARMELADINA 05-24-2011 09:41 AM

So. Between my Djokovic funk and a crazy work schedule, I decided to take it easy this week. Wake up at a normal time, and just catch what I can on Tivo and in the evenings.

But. My body is having none of that. Because promptly at 5:00am (just happening to coincide with the start time in Paris) I am wide awake. So, here I am, whether I want to be or not. http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum...ies/cheesy.gif

aaaaaaaaand 6-3, not Zuz.

Zugaxxsn 05-24-2011 09:56 AM

Watching a bit of Raz/Gaj... not the highest quality, but not nearly as nervy as I had expected. Love Razzano's dress: looks a little periwinkle on my screen.

Lunims 05-24-2011 09:56 AM

AMG is down 3-5 to whoever the heck her opponent is.

!

And already down a break of serve in the next http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...lies/frown.png C'mon, Zuz!!!

Meanwhile, Murray gets broken en breaks back to take the first set 6-4. No exactly flawless stuff yet....

Zugaxxsn 05-24-2011 10:12 AM

Commentary on the Mladenovic/Morita match: "You don't see much of the two-handed forehand, especially on the WTA side..."

Uhhhh... at the moment, I can't think of a single ATPer who uses two hands off both sides. Good try, commentator.

Arkadiyas 05-24-2011 10:13 AM

I woke up SO hungry at about 2:50-something, which was good since I would have slept through a lot of tennis otherwise.

Now I'm eating leftover Cheese Tortellini and watching tennis. Ooo yeah http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...es/biggrin.png

Only to get broken back. Au revoir, le Zuz.

Random aside: Murray and Prodon have the same grunt tone.

Bill-Watson 05-24-2011 10:34 AM

If asked to give my expert opinion on that match, I'd say that Garcia hit the ball, and Zuz didn't.

Sorry Moose.

Nosmas 05-24-2011 10:34 AM

Oh well. Was sort of pulling for Razzano for obvious reasons.
