It must be a real joy trying to guess when you'll be on court if you are playing 4th match following a couple of men's matches - 3 sets or 5?? how to guess???

Yeah, I'm trying to guess - when to watch Caro vs Kimiko.

I'm sure you can catch it on delay on ESPN at a convenient enough time for them

Marion Bartoli (FRA)[11] v. Anna Tatishvili (GEO)
Aravane Rezai (FRA) v. Irina-Camelia Begu (ROU)
Anastasia Rodionova (AUS) v. Nadia Petrova (RUS)[26]

Jill Craybas (USA) v. Eleni Daniilidou (GRE)
I'm really curious if Bartoli will be able to play. She's been brilliant for a lot of this year. She got injured at the AO so this would be the second slam in a row where an injury derailed a potential good run.

Rezai v Begu could be fun. I was shocked so many people went with Rezai in the pool, because Begu is a young player who had that good run to a clay final earlier.

I didn't realize it when glancing over the draw, but Petrova has to play her doubles partner. That could be trouble.

I'm glad either Craybas of Daniilidou will make the second round. They're match is like one of the Land Before Time sequels. Two dinosaurs will take part in something really, really low quality.

Rezai playing really thoughtful tennis at the moment, like always. Down two breaks to Begu.

Excellent start for Francesca! Some difficulty closing out that first set, and let Oudin get away with a love service game, but some absolutely beautiful points! You go Fran!

ETA: Job done. 1 hr. 2 min. Next match, play even better!

Aravane, Aravane, Aravane. It's pretty sad that I'm not even surprised she lost. She needs help, stat.

I know there are lots of anti-fans here, but how non-Donald Young is this?

Oudin: "I pretty much got a claycourt lesson today." "I feel like my ranking now is where it should be."

For me Sister B is the American Rezai and though she is playing well at the moment, it's hard for me to get excited by all of the nonsense she brings with her on to the court.

McHale was up 5-0 in the third set, and had two match points at 4-5, 15-40.

EDIT: Errani takes it 9-7. Tough loss for Christina.

When did Feliciano add a top spin backhand to his game?
