I'm pretty happy with Raonic's draw here. Assuming he's healthy, he gets two fairly easy rounds to play his way into form, then he gets the least threatening top-4 at the moment. Hopefully he makes it to Murray, that will be fun to watch!
You put into words exactly what I was thinking as I looked at the draw. But Murray may have to get by Dancevic first!

Not that there were big expectations, but this draw really took it to the Americans. Where was I when Isner fell out of seeding range?

Wertheim's picks:

Nadal def. Total Surprise (Dolgopolov?)
Djokovic def. Federer

With Rafa taking the title.

I checked, it was 3 weeks ago. http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/P...sner.aspx?t=rh

When he failed to defend his Belgrade finalist points.

But that was totally understandable. I'd also be personally devastated if I were reminded of the fact that I lost a match to Sam Querrey. I'm worried that poor John is so emasculated that he's now playing with dolls.

Are you suggesting that JTContinental is really John Isner? (not the emasculated part of course, just the playing with the dolls part)

I don't think so. JT just makes the dolls and kills them. John just plays with them after they're already dead. It's a twisted Chuckie thing. At least that's my theory.

Aha! I guess he hasn't been much to speak of in '11.

Dude, Federer is in the bottom half of the draw

Speaking of which, you can get odds of 14/1 for Fed to win the tournament. I doubt he has been this big a price since very early in his run of slam victories or even before his first Wimbledon win.
