That was a very pretty drop shot. I'm glad to see Alize with some life again although the "allez"ing is getting a little annoying.

Guez took the first set over Stakhovsky in a very fun tiebreaker. The commentator said this is the first time Guez has played in a main draw slam (he qualified). He looks oldish (mid/late twenties?), so I imagine he's just a low ranked journeyman. He is lightning quick but doesn't play percentages too well. His speed is really remarkable to see.

Stakhovsky has a very "Aw Shucks" Toby McGuire quality to him. If this whole tennis thing doesn't work out (and the way he's playing currently...), he should totally star in a RomCom or work at the mall as a Christmas Elf.

You know what's really cute? Cilic and Ramirez Hidalgo's matching outfits. Marin should humor him and wear a cap stupidwards, too.

I agree, but I don't know how many more hip operations he can actually go through.
According to the BBC he now has something with his ankle, so the hip is safe for the time being. Still, can't be much fun for Lleyton anymore.
