I thought it was supposed to happen on Saturday (21st)?

At least, that's what I've been joking around work with until it has gotten horribly old.

None of the above. The winner of RG this year will be a complete shocker, I'm even going to go as far as to say it won't be a top ten player.

The question is Can it be a complete shocker when we're all expecting to be shocked?

Yeah, Goerges or Kuznetsova wouldn't be that shocking.

I do think someone in the top 10 will win, though.

I feel confident that someone from the top 10 will...make the 2nd week...maybe.

At this point, I'm really afraid to commit myself. 3rd round, for sure. Definitely possibly.

Well, I guess shocking in the sense that when us tennis nuts talk about who will win slams their name wouldn't come up. I'm not thinking it'll be a Gaudio kind of win, but I don't think a "favorite" will win.

If she wasn't playing like poo, this really could have been Zuzana's year. Sigh.

But for now I'll say Kvitova.

I went with Vera. She's (also) way overdue to win a Slam, and I LOVE the way she's playing this week in Brussels.

BUT - let's face it - with the rate of injuries lately on both tours, this thing could go to ANYBODY.
