And as always, Roger gets to play his first match at night, on the first day. So he gets to play his seven matches in 14 days as opposed to whomever of the top 4 gets to play 7 matches in 12, if he plays on Wednesday.
I know he is the GOAT and all that, but the blatant favoritism is such a turn off. |

REALLY??! To me is totally a turn-on! After the rain delays of the French Open in Soderling match, and 2 straight monday finals bacause of tropical storms and hurricanes, I want him to play every night session until quaterfinals, and play the first semi of the super saturday! C'mon the guy is almost 30 years old! Give him a break! lol It's just that it happens so frequently. I understand it at Wimby, where he is usually defending champion so he gets to open Centre Court. And I understand the rationale for the USO Organizers, who want the Marquee names. But really. How about Rafa starting first? Just once? Even Novak, which would be some kind of humanitarian deed. Pretty pleaseeeeee...... |

In any case, I'm not so sure this is necessarily an advantage: last year it's Del Potro who won!! with the draw Fed has this year he is already very very lucky, his ONLY test is Djoko in the semis!, so whomever gets to the final can "stole" the victory during the last moments à la Del Potro! Fed is never safe in finals any more! It's Rafa who should get a break: his side is a real MINEFIELD!!! poor Rafa |
