Peztschner will not be easy for Rafa. I watched his match against Roger in Halle, and he is really talented and threatening on grass.

I hate Kvitova http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/images/smilies/mad.png

I just noticed that the volume meter on the BBC livestreams goes from 0 to 11. http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum...ies/cheesy.gif

Serena is looking scarily good right now.

I like Kvitova, even though she dumped me out of FO SP by losing to Sophie Ferguson. Wildly inconsistent game (even within the course of a match), but easy on the eyes (she lost like 25 pounds last winter - much leaner than her photos, and her kit at Memphis was pretty. Yes, I'm that shallow) and pretty good shot selection (her head ahead of her ability to execute -- which is pretty much how I felt about Isner at the time, actually).
|
...and, speaking of wildly inconsistent players, Chardy is up 2-0 in the fourth set against Ferru. There's one where I wish both guys could win.
No fence-sitting for Court 18, though, where Rodionasty just got breadsticked by Nails. Sweet. |

Bellucci not even close to being competitive with Soderling, looks like |

Jeremy now 4-2 in the 4th. The sad thing is, I'll believe he'll serve out the set only if it actually happens, and not a point before. Rooting for French players has a way of doing that to a girl.http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...lies/frown.png |
Domi did well to put up a fight in the second, when Serena gave her a few more errors. Still, the Serena serve looked absolutely unbreakable today.
Here's hoping for a good match between her and Maria (assuming she gets there)! |
God these Sting-juxtaposed montages are making my ears bleed. (Sometimes I'm not quite quick enough to the mute button.)
