BTW, I must out myself here.....Especially as it seems like a real possibility.....I am now rooting mightily for James and Mardy to win the doubles (how cool would it be for Blake and Fish to actually have a Slam title?!?!?), even factoring in those damned bunnies......http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum...es/shocked.gif

I don't understand what you means?

sueplydup 01-07-2009 06:20 PM

I'm not sure if Nelsus is joking or what but I'm elated for those guys. It will mean a lot to both of those guys if they can win it. I haven't seen them play but it looks like they are really playing well.

Nelslus= not joking here. (The confusion is, ahem, understandable. http://forum.talkabouttennis.com/ima...es/redface.png) Especially after all that James has been through- a Slam title of ANY kind would be so sweet- and very much deserved. (AND I have been able to watch them play over the internet- and they are playing beautifully. Can only help their singles play- just ask Fed.)

I'm confused. I see Alexa Glatch is playing doubles, but I didn't think I saw her name in either the Main draw or in qualifying...whats up with that, or am I wrong?

:::edit:::
......nevermind I see now I was wrong.....

I see that Peer is playing singles and doubles, coming back from the stress fracture to here foot. You would think that she would only compete in singles.
