Default Iveta Benesova should leave the FED Cup of Czech Republic?
I think she should leave because she lost the last deciding doubles match with Kveta Hrdlickova-Peschke when their team was tired 2-2 with France, also she didn't responsed this event to played again; as a result her problem was occured again!!

I think she must give her chance to Klara Koukalova-Zakopalova to play next three years of this tournament!!

What do you think?

I'm voting yes, but only because public execution wasn't a choice.

LOL.

I voted no. The captain should choose the players with the best chance of winning. If the captain chooses Benesova, she should try to make up for her loss and work extra hard!

Do you think Klara has three more seasons in her, Pierce Chang? Because I'm leaning "No" on Benesova because I think Klara might pull a Clijsters-Lynch, and abandon the Tour for motherhood. Then, where would that leave the Czech's hopes for Fed Cup glory?

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. " - Michael Jordan

PierceCheng, if you suspend Benesova, aren't you taking away her chance to be like Mike?

ps - Her team lost to the USA, not France.

I would never kick any woman off a tennis court who is willing to change her panties in public during changeovers in the middle of a match. End of topic.

But she can destruct the opponents (or at least their male captains) with her skimpy clothes! That's a talent!

Not to mention the impact it would have on the likes of Momo, Sveta, and Frannie.

I was going to mention something about the Australian team.

Frannie is notoriously heterosexual, just so you know. So, let's leave it at Momo.

Ditto. Francesca dated (still dates?) a race car driver for some years. I've never read anywhere where it is even suggested that she's anything but hetero, and I've been following her carrer closely since Hopman '02.

Why would Benesova be kicked off the team for a past mistake? Imagine where we would all be if everyone carried grudges over our past mistakes. You shouldn't be kicked off the team for a mistake you made in the past. In competition, mistakes get made...things get lost and when you are Benesova....things get lost A LOT....but I don't think she should be penalized for past mistakes.

The Fed Cup captain selects the team from a list of available players. If he picks Benesova because she's the best pick and not because he/she's having an affair with her well then...really, who are we to say otherwise?

I vote no. Let Benesova learn from her mistakes.

Q. Yesterday we saw your dad on court No. 1 studying Francesca Schiavone. What did he say to you?
SERENA WILLIAMS: I did not know that, so I'm not aware of that.

Q. He told you nothing?
SERENA WILLIAMS: No. http://www.asapsports.com/show_interview.php?id=56115

Critual: a combination of Crucial and Critical.

D-s' dictionary for English and TAT variants.

Hmm...I thought it meant "critical ritual"? As in Benesova should give up her Fed Cup spot, because she underperformed in the critical post-match ritual.

Is this the race car driver Frannie dated?

LOL, sorry, couldn't resist. Also, we took an informal poll in chat tonight and no one is buying the straight arrow bit with Frannie.

She was once overheard on international television after winning a match telling said boyfriend, "Let's go f**k in the car now."
