Default Israel Excluded From Global Counter Terrorism Conference.
There is only one word to describe the following: DESPICBLE!

Israel on the outs — again

Once again, Israel was excluded from one of Team Obama’s pet projects — the Global Counter-Terrorism Forum, a group of 29 nations that met this week in Spain.
Israel was not only not invited — Turkey objected — it also was completely ignored.
In remarks to the group, Undersecretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights Maria Otero didn’t include Israel in a list of terror victims. But the message is clear: Israel, long the world’s chief target of international terrorism, increasingly is being written out of the global discussion of that very issue.

That Washington should be complicit in this effort to isolate and marginalize Israel is ominous indeed.

maybe we can look at the bright side of this issue, we know most people who "befriend" israel only do it because they think jews are 'smart' and can learn something from that country, not because they truly want to be friends with our people/country.israel.

If israel were invited, im sure everyone would want to know any 'israeli secrets' in its counter terrorism strategy, since israel wasent invited and obviously isnt attending,

at least we know no one from the israeli delegation will 'spill the beans' on any israeli strategies to combat counter terrorism., which im sure are the best in the world.

This would be like my daughter, in order to "get back" at me for not giving her everything she wants or letting her do everything she wants to do, saying, "Daddy, I won't let you help me with my math homework anymore...."

If they want to be childish, so be it....Let them sleep in their own beds that they make for themselves....

Jerichomissile, Aliyah

You are probably both right. But I am still disgusted by the fact that the Israeli victims of terrorism were just ignored. They do this to Israel at every turn and every field. They still haven't learnt the fact that the Jews and Israel are the proverbial canary in the mine. Everything nasty that the bad guys conceive, they first test on the Jews. But ultimately everyone else gets it in the neck. And often well after the Jews problems have already been solved.

They never seem to learn this lesson. Amazing!

now im a grown man in my early 30's and shes in her 60's and shes been like that basically since i was about 14yrs old.

and yes, i moved out when i was 23yo, and she still "nags" me to come over and have her cook for me, now thats amazing!

JM,

Of course I enjoy helping my daughter with her math homework (my wife is responsible for helping her with English). I don't help her because I HAVE to but because I WANT to. However, let's be honest. I think my daughter benefits a bit more from my helping her than I do.

A rather ironic development today:

Israeli appointed to senior position in UN

United Nations names David Scharia as legal coordinator for the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED), making him the only Israeli to serve in top security position in UN Secretariat http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...257025,00.html
