The Media always leaves out the fact that although we lost 18 fine Ranger and Delta soldiers during the "Battle of Mogadishu" our boys killed some 1,200 to 1,500 somali militiamen during that battle. In truth it was a pretty one sided fight, and if it hadn't been for a number of tactical and logistical screwups by the military and civilian brass, "Black Hawk Down" never would have even happened.

PS. The Washington Post is reporting that 2 or 3 of the Al Qaida operatives we were after were killed along with at least a dozen other Al Qaida members in this attack in Somalia. Al Qaida is not safe anywhere in the world, we will hit them wherever and whenever we choose to.
