Canada did not support the war in Iraq. It sent peace keeping troops to Afghanisthan and has been very friendly and tolerant towards Muslims, so if they strike us, we are in trouble, cause we don't have a strong army, the only thing we'll be throwing at them is our beavers. God save Canada. |

"If you try to cross the line I can't guarantee what is going to happen. Our young people, we can't control," Aly Hindy, the head of Scarborough's Salaheddin Islamic Centre, recalls telling the minister at the May meeting she held in Toronto with dozens of Muslim leaders. Or in other words........careful.......we are irrational..........don't mess with us because we are not responsible for our own actions......
On a more serious note, people like these know exactly what they are saying. They are trying to intimidate others into backing off. People who study game theory can demonstrate that this type of tactic is far from being irrational, it can be very effective. |
