I transferred it because of the title of the thread.

There wasn't anything in the article to indicate that the attacks were because of their religion and not more to do with anti-IDF sentiment.

We are raping Jews because of what the IDF is doing to the Palestinians in the territories.

But it's definitely a hate crime and should get some extra attention because of that. If you go around saying that hate crimes are caused by religion when they really are caused by politics and ignorance, then there is never going to be an end to this kind of thing. You can take away their Qurans and force them not to worship and the root cause of their actions is going to remain. I think we can agree about what should be done with these types. The death penalty is too good for them.

FWIW, the exact same story has been running on our home page all day.
