I can just only hope that we will soon have a brand new President that will have the balls to prevent dicking about with Musharaff, and do what needs doing.

Musharraf controls the military which controls Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. A much weaker chief gets control, and when the US weakens Musharraf, Pakistan might fall to the Islamic Extremists. The same occurred in Iran, when 'brain-dead' President Carter refused to back the Shah, enabling the Islamists to dominate Iran.
