KABUL -- At least five Iranian companies in Afghanistan's capital are using their offices covertly to finance Taliban militants in provinces near Kabul, according to an investigation by London's Sunday Times.

Afghan intelligence and Taliban sources have told the newspaper that the firms, set up in the past six months, provide cash for a network of district Taliban treasurers to pay battlefield expenses and bonuses for killing the enemy and destroying their vehicles. No surprises here. The question is when are we going to admit that Iran has declared war on us, and we are at war with Iran?

Well, if your expecting Obama to do anything about, your going to be very disappointed.

Wait, someone hates us enough over there to pay someone else to kill us? Say it isn't so. Very little if anything will be done about it, perhaps we can look to the UN to waste a little time talking and passing some useless resolutions about it.

Since the entire existence of the Saudi Royal Family depends on their supporting of fundamentalist wahhabi teaching (you know, the kind that led to the 9/11 attacks and most other islamic terrorist attacks), we should be at least as worried about Saudi Arabia as Iran.

They can be a stabilizing influence in the ME. Israel has de-stabilized the area since it's inception. Real peace negotiations might take place if an equal to Israel was involved. (that's what Israel is IMO afraid of)

Maybe it's just me but when we were active in Iraq and building in Afghanistan we were also sending a message to Iran. I suppose that we're still sending them a message but not one that will make them think twice before doing something stupid.

So, if two countries are fighting in a war where the US is not directly and openly involved, and the US gives any kind of aid to one warring country, does that equal a declaration of war by the US against the other warring country?

Sigh… guess this must be repeated yet again.

Bush was asked and complied with an EU request to allow those EU nations… Germany, GB and France to negotiate with Iran to use real diplomacy to talk Iran ‘down off the ledge’ and at the same time show the American Cowboy how it’s done.

What is to be done?

The Iranian state TV company - you know the one which broadcasts "Death to America" etc. and thereby incites Al-Quds force, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and Iranians in general to support actions such as paying the Taliban to kill American soldiers - is called "ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN BROADCASTING" (IRIB).

Well the IRIB broadcasts on satellites such as

So if the US wants to change the Iranian regime from one which pays the Taliban to kill American soldiers into a friendly regime then a first step to Iranian regime-change is to stop the Iranian regime broadcasting its propaganda all around the world on satellite TV.

So all the US government has to do is tell the owners of those satellites to stop broadcasting IRIB or action will be taken against the companies and satellites concerned and any others which broadcast anti-American propaganda.

Simply shut up the lying mouths of the Iranian islamo-fascists and all the other anti-American, anti-Western hate channels being broadcast and kill many enemy birds with one stone.
