So I saw what might be the stupidest bumper stickers today.
"Obama 2012". I looked at the guy, looked smart, but what a lemming. Here is a guy who already knows who he is voting for, but doesn't even know who is running for the office or what they hope to do once in office. We're fu'ed... ps. of course, it was on a Prius. |

I mean, I think you can make a pretty educated guess? Let's, for argument's sake, say the 3 most important issues to you are: pro-choice, health care reform that works to cover more people (implies subsidy), and immigration reform that provides a path to legalization then I am pretty sure you can guess who you're voting for. Am I wrong? I'd give it a 1% chance that the Republican nominee will support all of those.

GWB wanted immigration reform. Romney passed health care in Mass.
I don't think abortion should have anything to do with politics, but that's another thread. I mean, I think you can make a pretty educated guess? But I'm saying if your a person and your most important political positions are those three issues then you pretty much know who you're going to support. So, I'm not sure why you're annoyed or think they should wait until there's a Republican nominee or at least everyone is in the field. What's the quote, "The only difference between republicans and democrats is how fast their knees hit the ground". |

If I'm not confident a candidate can carry out his/her promises on both, they're not getting my vote. |

I also remember an election and they interviewed an older lady and she proudly stated she had voted straight democrat for the last 40 years. I thought that makes her pretty damn stupid to be manipulated that way. God for bid she should make an informed decision and vote for the best candidate. |
