Part of the problem with this administration is that the cabinet members and military staff are willing to fall on the sword in order to protect the President. First it was Sec of State Clinton taking responsibility and now these 2 men. For staff people in any administration that is expected. You do what you must to keep the blame from falling on the boss. But the worst part of this administration is that the President is the one thrusting the sword.
I guess Truman's sign on his desk "The Buck Stops Here" has been removed and forgotten. |

The White House on Saturday flatly denied that President Barack Obama withheld requests for help from the besieged American compound in Benghazi, Libya, as it came under on attack by suspected terrorists on September 11th.
"Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi," National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told Yahoo News by email. They also stuck with their story for two weeks that a mob, angered by a Youtube video, spontaneously stormed the embassy. They lack the credibility to be believable. |
