Part of the problem with this administration is that the cabinet members and military staff are willing to fall on the sword in order to protect the President. First it was Sec of State Clinton taking responsibility and now these 2 men. For staff people in any administration that is expected. You do what you must to keep the blame from falling on the boss. But the worst part of this administration is that the President is the one thrusting the sword.

I guess Truman's sign on his desk "The Buck Stops Here" has been removed and forgotten.

lol ok, fair enough.
My point stands though, Clinton didn't have the sliver of integrity to resign. It's obvious to be me that Obama doesn't either.

Elections always seem to bring out the same things in partisan politics. The very same type of " he needs to resign" or "impeach" him stuff that I'm hearing about Barack Obama I heard from liberals about George Bush during his re-election campaign.

The difference is in the fact that there is evidence to the failure, and outright dereliction of duty, and high crimes and misdemeanors perpetrated by Obama.

No. The difference is in personal integrity. You cannot teach that and that is not a party affiliation issue.

Just for discussions sake:

Assume Obama is being honest when he says he was out of the loop. Isn't that just as big an issue? Why should you vote for a man who passes the buck right out of the gate? We pay him to be in the loop and lead. He has been campaigning for 5 1/2 years for that privilege.

Yep either he was out of the loop or he knew and did nothing. Either way he is incompetent.

The White House on Saturday flatly denied that President Barack Obama withheld requests for help from the besieged American compound in Benghazi, Libya, as it came under on attack by suspected terrorists on September 11th.

"Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi," National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told Yahoo News by email.

They also stuck with their story for two weeks that a mob, angered by a Youtube video, spontaneously stormed the embassy.

They lack the credibility to be believable.
