I'd like to see Obama run because he would lose.
Because politics is war, and oppponents are enemies, it would open many avenues to fight the Democrats. I don't want an electable Democrat of any sort. On Second Amendment issues alone this would be a disaster. I want a Democrat candidate that triggers visceral rage and unites the opposition. |

Well, my 3 kids and I are Israelis, but also have American citizenship and we vote in Federal elections, because we also believe that the President of the United States DOES have an impact on our (Israeli) lives.
I have zero trust in what I read in the media, and would be very interested in hearing the real skinny on Clinton versus McCain, for example. And what the real Rudy is about... As an Israeli, it is difficult for me to trust the wife of Bill Clinton. As an American from a rock-solid Democratic family, though, it's hard to vote Republican without PROOF that once in the Oval Office, the candidate won't brown-nose the Saudis for their own and the hell with global terror...... So speak up! |

As an American from a rock-solid Democratic family it's hard to vote Republican without PROOF that once in the Oval Office, the candidate won't brown-nose the Saudis for their own and the hell with global terror...... So speak up! Giuliani rejects $10 million from Saudi prince October 12, 2001 Posted: 3:14 AM EDT (0714 GMT) Giuliani: "Not only are those statements wrong, they're part of the problem." NEW YORK (CNN) -- Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Thursday the city would not accept a $10 million donation for disaster relief from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal after the prince suggested U.S. policies in the Middle East contributed to the September 11 attacks. "I entirely reject that statement," Giuliani said. "There is no moral equivalent for this [terrorist] act. There is no justification for it. The people who did it lost any right to ask for justification for it when they slaughtered 4,000 or 5,000 innocent people." Prince Alwaleed gave the mayor a check after a Thursday morning memorial service at Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center towers destroyed in the attacks. The prince offered his condolences to the people of New York, but after the ceremony he released a statement suggesting the United States "must address some of the issues that led to such a criminal attack." "The check has not been deposited. The Twin Towers Fund has not accepted it," Giuliani said in a statement late Thursday. The prince's statement said the United States "should re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stand toward the Palestinian cause. "While the U.N. passed clear resolutions numbered 242 and 338 calling for the Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza Strip decades ago, our Palestinian brethren continue to be slaughtered at the hands of Israelis while the world turns the other cheek," the statement said. Giuliani flatly rejected the prince's position. "To suggest that there's a justification for [the terrorist attacks] only invites this happening in the future," he said. "It is highly irresponsible and very, very dangerous. "And one of the reasons I think this happened is because people were engaged in moral equivalency in not understanding the difference between liberal democracies like the United States, like Israel, and terrorist states and those who condone terrorism. "So I think not only are those statements wrong, they're part of the problem," Giuliani said. http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/10/1...nce/index.html Giuliani is a perfect candidate for Jews. He is tough on foreign policy, does not kowtow to terrorists and is socially liberal. |

So I was afraid to trust Rudy. He truly moved me in 9/11. Even way before 9/11 when Clinton and "enlightened" Jews and Europeans were kissing Arafat's booty, Giuliani was throwing him out of Lincoln Center and bashing him everwhere, taking a lot of heat from Clinton and these other "englightened" fools. Take a look at this article: http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles...e.asp?ID=19980 & http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpag...gewanted=print
Talk to me about McCain, though, would you please? Great guy but has very little support and has no shot. He is basically a centrist but has no support on the left b/c of his support of Bush and the Iraq War. He has no support on the right b/c he fought (and won a ban) against having US personnel engage in harsh interrogation techniques and torture against terrorists and b/c he introduced a pro amnesty immigration bill for illegal aliens, with Ted Kennedy of all people. Basically, he is a guy of morals who stands up for what he believes in, whether it is a "leftist" or "rightist" issue doesn't matter to him. That is why he is finished in the presidential race. Dear G-d, I went to that blog.... Daily Kos. Now I MUST shower...... And that is, I believe, the #1 Democratic blog. Major players from the Dem party post and campaign on there frequently. |
