Default Pentagon Fires Intelligence Analyst With No Explanation
John Dullahan wants an explanation of why he was fired from his job as an analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency last year. (Watch the WUSA9 video below)

Why do you think Dullahan was fired?

Not true. He was given a reason. His clearance was revoked. As his clearance was essential to his job he was terminated. End of story.

Great. Sounds like there's a vacancy. I have an active clearance. What ad number is his job listed on USA jobs?

This article talks about it all. (I couldn't click on whatever was on the original post). So basically because he 'failed' a polygraph they took his job? Polygraphs are such bullshit anyway. There are so many things that can influence it and if he already had a situation that the DoD knew about, that shouldn't have affected him getting fired. Plus it seems he's the only person this rare national security clause has been used on...really? I processed clearances and I've seen some of the things people put down and they STILL get a clearance. Something doesn't sound right and if he is such a "national security" risk why would his wife still have her clearance, access and job? They live together. You would think they'd be suspicious of her "working" with him...right? Sometimes I wonder about government agencies.

I'd need more info to make a proper Smarg evaluation.

Was the guy a 'check collector' or a producer?

Was this a direct result of a lifestyle poly? I myself was subjected to a polygraph...we were promised that it would not be a lifestyle. Sure enough, the enlisted OSI agent (I'm convinced of it, or he was a retired enlisted civilian OSI guy) starts going down the road, "So, have you ever committed adultery..." I stopped him and said this wasn't supposed to be a lifestyle. He said "Well, your answers appear deceptive so I'm allowed to now."

I envisioned him after the interview gathering with his colleagues..."Wow, did I make that officer sweat...hee! Did you see him squirm when I asked him about porn? BWAHAHA!!"

Grrrrrr....I still have nightmares about that one.
