Default Our snack bar prices for a soda just went up from $0.50 to $0.75...thanks Obama
Wonder what will Newt do about the price of soda? Does he have a 3-point plan?

At least Romney understands the economy...that's what we need.

This clearly means we need to invade whatever country has a massive supply of soda. That should help bring the price down.

No it's supply and demand. Let's drive down the demand and kill all fat people.

In all seriousness though - its an interesting debate how much of the military benefits is "deserved" and how much of it is a "handout".

The way it was explained to me - military benefits and perks are like employee compensation. Its not a "handout" - its compensating you for risking your butt for Uncle Sam for 4-20 years.

True, but at the same time some people need to lose the entitlment attitude. LIke the dummies who posted that junk on youtube about excess baggage. Its up the company if they want to waive it. To many people gimmie gimmie gimmie. Like one of my wife's friends she got back from her deployment and when at lunch asked about a military discount. That i have no issue with, i dont do it, but I understand it. When they said no she asked what about a just got back from afghanastan discount. I hate it when people do that.

Yeah, that shit pisses me off. Also the douchebags who game the disability system to get money they don't really deserve. If you have the same number of body parts you enlisted with and working out at the gym every day, you shouldn't be collecting 40% disability.

I work out at home; does that mean I get to keep my compressed disks, nerve damage, tendinitis, and PTSD?

Maybe in your case you're legit - I don't know you. But what I do know is a lot of people abuse the system. But like I've said before about welfare -its better to be too broad and give money some people who don't deserve it than be too narrow and cut off people who should have it.
