Default Why Obama WILL Be Re-elected
I absolutely hate admitting it, but President Obama will be re-elected in November. First off, he has no competition. Mitt Romney doesn't stand a chance to beat him and he's the leading Republican contender because apparently Republicans decided to get behind their version of John Kerry. Romney is just as big of a vagina as Obama and will probably apologize to Afghans who burn our flag by saying he was sorry the flag isn't more flammable. Sadly, there is no other Republican candidate worth a crap. Santorum can't beat Obama, Gingrich is ugly as sin and we do vote based on image. Obama will also win because not only is he a socialist, but the entire country is headed that way. Look at every issue in the news and I guarantee you there will be someone in that news story screaming that the government needs to step in and "do something". As a whole, we no longer try and solve issues amongst ourselves, we go screaming for the government to fix it, thus giving the government more power over us. Obama has also created an economy in which we rely on him and we will not cut off the hand that feeds us. He literally gave money to people on the streets of Detroit (if you want to see the true scum of the earth, YouTube “Obama money”). Those people are all going to vote for him. Not only will they vote for him, but the human shit piles on government assistance will all vote for him too because he extended the time they can sit around, sucking on the government’s tit. Obama has also fed on the class warfare that has exploded since Obama destroyed our economy. Right now Obama is increasing taxes on the rich, which will win over everyone who thinks the rich are all evil assholes who are getting what’s coming to them (even though they already pay 80% of all taxes in this country). Taxing rich CEOs will also keep unemployment high because they will not suffer from the tax hike, they will simply cut more employees, which lead to more layoffs, which puts more people on unemployment, and those people will depend on Obama to pay them to sit at home for 99 weeks. So two things will happen in November: Obama will be re-elected and we are FUCKED!

The best quote ever from Winston Churchill, and explains why Obama got elected, and why he, unfortunately will be re-elected.

“The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.”

I agree; however, I will still vote...just not for Obama. When Obama gets re-elected, I do not want to hear anyone ( this means all you non-voters) about how he is running America into the ground. Wake up America, get off your APATHETIC ASS and vote...your future depends on it!

I must admit that I'm pretty appalled at what I'm seeing expressed here, and many other places on this forum - hatred toward people on public assistance. As if they have power over you. Do people on public assistance write bills, or have the power to veto them or sign them into law? If not, do they have the power to override the person who does? Do they have the power to make the call on whether or not a particular law is constitional?

Are they the top dogs in corporatate America - the ones that have the power to hire and fire you? Do they have the money and resources to influence the desicions that will be made by those in power, the same way large corporations might?

No? Then why all the hate toward people who have zero power over you, and are of a lower socio-economic status than you are?

For far too many of you, your hate and anger is misdirected.

You know we're all entitled to our opinion. However, when our opinion is in a forum as such there is no need to get defensive, because you put your thoughts out first. As for Obama, it would seem that he's done everything wrong that one possibly could. What really boggles me about those that complain about him, is that he's more qualified than his predecessor for sure. Those pursuing office today, and those posting on blogs and the media that partake in this nonsense.

GWB, lets be real...that guy invaded a country for no reason and then lied about the reasoning. To this day he has an excuse and refuses to admit he screwed the pouch. Cheney....that guy, the most powerful VP ever. He calls Obama a 1 term Pres, and he was the first mistake of GWB's tenure. You never hire someone who does not have plans to move up in life. He was content on being the VP.....or homecoming queen runner-up.
Romney, or should I say Really, come on, this guy. I won't indulge because he's not worth an explanation.
Lastly, Obama is far from perfect but he's not culpable of each and every problem in America. At some point we have all have to accept some responsibility and call it for what it is. Not what we want it to be.

The thing is some of those people never vote. Who cares who is in office as long as i sit here and collect unemployment. It is different if you have a seasonal job and cannot get a job anywhere else. Case by case. Just like that retarded b%^*& that won the lottery and was still on food stamps b/c she had 2 houses that she needed to pay off? Come on really?

Over twenty years of seeing the same guy getting elected twice does not rest well with me.

Americans are morons. We stick with who we know at this point. Even when Clinton was making a mess on Monica and gutting the military from within, We the People still re-elected him. Even when Dubya was struggling with his tele-prompter and could not prove we invaded Iraq to remove the WMDs, We the People still re-elected him.

$5 bucks says that Obama gets re-elected because people stick with who they know. I can't stand the SOB for signing the NDAA and HR 347, which both have stripped us of our rights as American citizens. People need to vote AGAINST this guy for his deeds, and NOT his skin color.

We're a nation of idiots.

Exactly, Americans need to quit sucking the "G.O.V. Teet", and take responsibility for their own actions.

Typically, what I'm seeing in this hatred of people on public assistance is that many people who vote Republican... actually stand to lose by voting Republican, and would stand to gain by voting Democrat. However, they vote against their own economic best interest, because it's a price that they're willing to pay in order to spite those on public assistance.

The powers that be have misdirected our anger, so that we don't see who the real enemy is.

So everyone should just vote for whoever gives them the most stuff? Sounds good. I'll stick around and wait until a candidate promises me a Ferrari because I'd look super sexy in a bright yellow Ferrari. After all, it's not about the health of my country or the quality of our national future...it's about getting someone that will play Robin Hood and take from others to give to me. If we're lucky that candidate will put the Michigan lottery winner on the tickey for VP because clearly she gets it. That brings up another thing doesn't it...we need an oligarchy of people that run for office with aspirations to "move up". SIlly Cheney didn't get it even though he held dozens of executive branch positions before he was VP. We need lifetime politicians climbing from one office to another career style promising us stuff. Where's my Ferrari?

To rehash the Iraq thing that's been rehashed 16,722 times since 2003...

- A whole was of Democrats voted for OIF. GWB did recieve Congressional approval for it and Democrats controlled both houses of Congress back then. Unlike another recent operation GWB didn't skirt the WPA. And, unlike that same recent operation conducted by a very contemporary President GWB didn't exceed the bounds set for OIF.

- GWB did take his case before the UNSC. A substantial body of international law supported OIF as the necessary fallback given Iraq's violation of the cease fire agreement with the UN and Iraq's numerous ONW and OSW violations. (Wondering how many of the young chuckleheads bored at their USAF desk jobs even know what ONW and OSW were).

- Iraqi WMD's went to Syria which everyone knows even if nobody is comfortable saying it out loud.

- A whole bunch of apology tours to Cairo and other middle eastern locations sure pacified the region now didn't they?

Lastly, if Obama stands a chance of getting re-up'd on Nov 6, 2012 he'll have to do something no other incumbent has done since WWII. I'll leave it to the usual geniuses in these forums to figure out what I'm talking about.

Let me pose this question: When he made the promise to get the troops out of Iraq by XXXXXX what did you think when he said that? He was blowing smoke? How did you feel when he actually did?

Gee let me hop back in my time machine, roll the calendar back to 2003, so we all can re-enjoy the whole of OIF.

Who promised to get troops out of Iraq by a certain date? As I recall in 2007 GWB and PM Maliki signed both the SOFA and the documents that began the US withdrawal process. I know this because a few years later presto there I was in Iraq as OIF turned into OND and it wasn't Obama's ink on the page that made that happen. Of course, that didn't stop Obama from taking credit now did it. All the sudden as the success of the surge was validated and the end was in sight Obama started talking like the biggest hawk in the roost.

How did I feel about it? I didn't. You see, we're in the military. It doesn't matter how one "feels". We exist to do what we are directed to do. We do not have to like it. We just gotta do it. Sure, I think it's pretty ignorant to telegraph firm withdrawal dates like what we've done with OEF. But when I deploy over there it doesn't matter. I just gotta do it.

I hope next we can debate the War of 1812. I mean, Obama just ran against President Hayes in PG County a few days ago. Since we seem to be regressively going back and redebating closed issues we might as well go all the way right?

Also in the interest of repeating ourselves ad nauseum...if one really wants to get picky and technical GWB was merely implementing US policy towards Iraq as enumerated by Pres Clinton in a 1998 Executive Order that endorsed "regime change" as a solution for repeated Iraqi cease fire and ONW/OSW violations. If one really wants to get picky and technical.

Still amused by this "get more" by voting for Democrats who will give them "public assistance" line of thought. How many people have been lifted up out of poverty by public assistane programs and how many have been generationally stuck in the inner city? Oooops, did I suggest something out loud there. Where are my manners. Let's all just get mad at anyone we are jealous at for making more money that we do because golly gosh darn don't it feel good to covet what your neighbor has!

For those that held civilian jobs and earned a living for a few years before joining the military: When you went looking for work did you go find the most impoverished resident of your local projects, trailer park, or park bench and ask him/her what openings were available? Or did you go and talk to someone that had more money than you had and could pay you to perform labor at his or her business?
