The following news item from an RSS feed might be of interest to Monachos readers:

Its a sad commentary on western society when special police agencys exist to moniter if "undue suffering" is caused to baby animals when the same state allows mothers and their "doctors" to murder human babies. Couldnt they find something better to spend their money and the courts time on. I could see if the place was almost a utopia and they had solved all the worlds major problems then maybe they could go on to worry about trivial things like that but to do it now is silly. End world hunger, abortion, war, murder, rape, etc then go on to worry about the feelings of baby animals.http://www.monachos.net/forum/images...s/rolleyes.png I can understand why one might wish to be "nice" to animals many of the saints have shown kindness to them for example but to start some sort of moral crusade to protect the feelings of baby monkeys when millions of human babies are murdered ever year .......

I know Scott..but such are the ways of modern liberalism.
We would be considered fascist for daring to question the prevalence of abortion, but if an animal might be in danger somewhere then the whole power of the state comes to its rescue. Peter |
