HEFEI, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed and one seriously injured in a collision between a sulfuric acid-carrying heavy duty semi-trailer and a vehicle salon Saturday noon in east China's Anhui province, local authorities said. The collision happened at 11:37 a.m. on a scenic mountain highway in Anhui province on Saturday. The accident was caused by a high speed out-of-control car jumping the road divider and collided head-on into an oncoming heavy duty semi-trailer. The collision caused a fire on a section of the National Highway 318 in Nanling county, county officials said. Both vehicles were seriously damaged, officials said.
