The answer is quite obvious. People and groups need a convenient platform or vehicle to push their agenda. Civil libertarians and NGOs are not going to losen their purse strings for every case. They will however do so for cases that will give them the best mileage and give them the dopamine fix they look for.

Why are people concerned about a young man they don’t even know, one whom detractors say is a criminal and should have known better than to smuggle drugs?[/COLOR] The Save Vui Kong Campaign coordinator Ngeow Chow Ying believes that Vui Kong’s plight has touched hearts because of his circumstances.
