A Venus statue that is made of panda faeces
A statue of Venus displayed at Henan Provincial Art Gallery in China has attracted the attention of many visitors.

Popular Chinese contemporary art collector Uli Sigg from Switzerland is paying 300,000 yuan for the statue which is made from Panda faeces.

Chengdu artist Zhu Chengzhi used up 10kg of faeces to create this 60cm-tall and 30cm-wide statue.

Its notes read: "It is learnt that panda faeces smells the best of all other animals. The unique statue made of panda farces, is it the most beautiful Venus?"

Some visitors said it smelled like bamboo, some others said it is like Pu'er tea.
