Yah lah, this thread is more or less a direct reaction to that. You troll FEEDER! I should self censor myself because trolls are sensitive to bad news from America by an American magazine. Should I sue the magazine for spreading bad news? But it will not stand in the First Amendment of the US Constitution. Aussie court will also throw out my case under the 1992 Supreme court ruling of the same. But I can sue in Singapore court. So, where does the problems lie? Hmmm ... remind me of the politics of a country where I escape from .... |

Aiyah mai chap lah. Trolls are trolls. Once in a while letting them out to play is fun as well. Actually, I am more annoyed when reading the Escape from America magazine about this Chinese developer offering FREE WIFE if you purchase his CONDOS. Some of the free wives are ACTUALLY NOT BAD-LOOKING, but a bit old by China standard, so cannot be a rich sugar daddy's vase. |

Aiya, not surprising la.
Australia is a very good place to live in, but living cost has risen quite a lot the last few years. Also, young Aussies and Kiwis want to see the world and America opportunity is endless, make sense to move them for a number of years. American has 50+ states to choose from, Australia only a handful. America is the forefront of technology, science & media, Australia's growth is driven by resources and demand from China. America has the world renowed Ivy league universities and hundreds of good universities to choose from, Australia only has truly 8-10 very good universities. American of course win hands down. However, when it comes to economy stablity, unemployment rate, healthcare , lifestyle and crime rate, rich resources - Australia wins now. Australia or US, is still much better than Sillypore! |

Don't get me wrong. America is still a very successful country to migrate. Singapore is contuning to loose its better educated and wealthy to the US every year, as does the UK, NZ, and yes even, Australia. why no one cares the US is getting Singapore's best is something that no one seems to want to talk about.......... |

Pretty sure the trolls will come in sometime soon blaring their horns about how they made huge profits investing in "affordable" US property during the GFC and selling now.
Aiya, not surprising la. |

Now come on, America is perhaps the most difficult country to emigrate to (legally) while Canada, NZ, etc is dead easy. Singapore is nowhere to be found! But now latecomer Australia decided to dump hairdressers and chefs from its migrant list. hahaha Finally, the pollies get it |
