NE19149 does the "churn the butter" dance and sings: "go sama!, it's yo birthday!"

He's history!
He's Dead!
He hit the bucket!
He bit the dust!
He met his maker!
..... Hell!, I don't even remember him!

He never had style..... that Jackie-O pillbox hat looked stupid.

Seems like a bit of an anticlimax, really.

My old boss was on assignment with the Northern Alliance at Tora Bora and says the guy should have been dead in 2002, but we pretty much let him escape. I hope he got the most he could out of his extra 9 years of life, enjoying the cold life of a fugitive in caves and hovels.

Your old boss is correct. Here's some detail: How bin Laden got away / The Christian Science Monitor - CSMonitor.com

Am I the only one somewhat disappointed by tonight's news? I find that it is a huge reminder of the failure in taking a DECADE for the world's most powerful military to finally get him.

Well, after Tora Bora, it wasn't so much a failure of the military, but likely a failure of diplomacy. We couldn't just start blowing **** up in Pakistan without permission.

Tartan69,
Just think.....
About all those critters on Death Row.
And how John Wayne Gacy spent what?...... 14 years on taxpayers money, drawing clowns in prison?
One of the poor kids he murdered was only 14!

Hell, I'm all for swift justice.
7 days after you're convicted...... you're hung dead.
