I'm inclined to agree with you on that count. What does it matter whether Bush visits natural disaster victims or not - it's not like he's going to rebuild any houses.
Very true.

You're right. We are a contrast to the mindset that's been destroying this country; the contrast being that we haven't been the ones trying to destroy this country.

Thanks for pointing that out...
I bet you think that makes sense?

THE most telling thing about this thread has nothing to do with Bush. This is a right-wing thread WHINING about liberals "whining".

Absolutely incredible, but the most telling thing about that .. they're not smart enough to recognize what they're doing.

Bush .. who gives a fuck where that idiot goes?

It wouldn't matter if he went to Alabama or not? What's the difference besides photo-op or no photo-op? For those who can't keep up and who can't wait to run and post their marching orders from talk radio .. the failure of Bush during Katrina wasn't because he didn't go to New Orleans for a photo-op. .. He did not react to one of the greatest tragedies in American history with command, quickness, or intelligence. The failure was that he's a dummy who appointed a dummy to handle a tragedy.

History has already written the story of Katrina and it's just about done writing the story of George Bush. Both are an ugly blight in American history.

Thus, the entire premise for this thread is ... kinda' dumb .. but they don't know that.

What's telling is in their language ..

"Liberals and Welfare Leech's" ..

"Chocolate Ray and his band of Political Criminals"

"First, is that your Daddy's pin in your avatar? Sure the Hell can't be yours."

"But that's just 'cause I gave your sister... ahhh, nevermind."

It's the language of children. There was not a single non-right-wing post that used this type of language that one would expect from an 8th grader. This is simply a thread for right-wingers to whine about liberals.

The good news is that these kind of posters deserve an applause in my opinion. They serve as a glaring contrast to the idiotic mindset that has been destroying this country for the past 7 years ... and people with brains.

The good news is that they've helped inspire a change in American political thinking as more people look harder at them, pay closer attention to their failures, and listen to the moronic things they say.

I applaud them.

Thank you.

And given that YOU are descendant from African people .. I'm sure you must be equally as proud.

Thank you.

I'm curious ... what are these "sore loosing right-wing neo-American Bush worshipers" sore about?
Losing elections? Low approval ratings? Pissed they are going to have to face justice one day?

It seems to me that people who engage in inbreeding probably aren't very politically active, one way or another, and thus wouldn't identify as either "liberal" or "conservative".

Republicans sure whine alot about liberals.
And liberals whine a lot about Republicans

Whenever it's the "other side" complaining, they're whining. When it's your side, they're "making a point"...

Maybe because everything they believed in and said would happen is vanishing right in front of their very eyes?

It appears at least 25 whiners showed up for the Party, including a wanna be Danny Glover who appears to be proud of nothing at all???

Not sure who that is, as I just skipped by the dribble and incoherence!

Its so easy it seems unfair!

Ironman, am I too late to join the party?

Now, it is my understanding that the leader of the country - leads! Even that sorry excuse for a human being, John Howard has shown leadership on several occasions (and photo-ops) and as far as I am concerned, along with most of Australia by now, Howard is the worst Prime Minister this country has ever suffered through. What is it with Bush and his minders that he can't grasp the simple concept of leading.

As leader, when your country is attacked, you get out there and let people see you. It gives them hope and strengthens them to see no matter how bad things are, YOU, as their leader, are in control. That you have your finger on the pulse (not up your backside) and are rallying others to do what they do which will make things better for those in need.

Not at any time in his tenure has Georgie Bush done any of this. I was appalled at his indifference to Katrina, especially as it was reported in newspapers here that his Iraq policy dragged funds away from being used on the levee, thus making a bad situation worse. And of course, even more incompetence on the part of Bush and his appointees has come to light since then.

As I have said before, and I will say it again, at a time when the US needed a man they got a boy!

Oh! and no-one can deny me my right to have a good whinge about the incompetency of world leaders in this day and age!

Whining is something we do in the face of petty aggrivations. When "we" criticize Bush, or make fun of Bush, or get really upset with Bush's decisions, that's the furthest thing from whining. When values are at stake and the leader of the free world can't back his nation's values with action, and we've turned into the bad guys with our secret torture prisons and illegal wiretapping and CIA outing and committed acts of aggression using faulty intelligence, that's not whining. Any person of faith should be able to agree with that. Just because one party in America claims to stand next to God, that's all it is; a cheap claim in exchange for your comfort and votes. Wake up already, it's not whining.

He doesn't get it, nor did I expect him to.

It takes intelligence to understand the human journey, DNA, mitocondria, and things far beyond his capacity.

Of course, stupid comments like the one contained in the post immediately preceeding yours certainly suggests that Ironman Jack is on point. It took Solletica mere minutes to start whining about it.

Of course, if Bush hadn't gone, she'd whine about that, too...
That was a whine? perhaps you'd better consult your dictionary.

First, is that your Daddy's pin in your avatar? Sure the Hell can't be yours.

Second, I didn't make the original post, Genius. The question was answered, in rather short order, by someone who absolutely detests Bush. Bush could save a baby from a burning building, and people like Solletica would blame him for the building being made from combustible materials...
Apparently you haven't checked your dictionary yet

Well, perchance you could expound on what she meant by the "throwing pennies" comment, or the "Bush doesn't care about storm victims" comment. Surely, that's more than just commenting that it's a photo op...
Yep, but it sure as hell wasn't whining.

Thanks for pointing that out...
