How come you don't make yourself at home in China? Why do you have to stain a democratic nation with such nonsense? With respect to Al Qaeda, it is us versus them. If they get fucked in the process, I'm not planning on losing any great deal of sleep over it... |

Who exactly is "them"? All Arabic speaking, brown skinned, or Persian, middle eastern looking people? We don't pick people up, and ship them off to Guantanamo Bay, just because of their appearance. If we did, it would be a non-stop caravan of people from the Middle East being shipped off to Cuba, and that's just not happening. Please, that wasn't even a half-assed attempt. Sad you can do no better... |

When it's unofficial it's a rare occurance. When we declare ourselves to be a torture country, we lose our honor. When, exactly, did we "declare" that we're a "torture country"? Did I miss that particular news conference? Whow as it that stepped up to a microphone and said "We, the United States, torture people"? When did that happen? |

I guess you kinda' just skimmed over the "Al Qaeda" part. |

Actually, it would make sense that, if it's unofficial, it would happen more often... |

The people we have tortured and released have no connection to Al Qaeda. If they did, we would not have released them. You said it's us vs them and you're happy they are being tortured. Since them isn't Al Qaeda, I asked you who them is. Would you like to answer that? I even gave you multiple choice to make it easier for you. You're dismissed; you may go... |

You're obviously far too enamored with those who would wish to do our country harm; you can't be reasoned with, nor will you grasp simple logic when it's laid at your feet. You've inadvertantly declared defeat with this resort to insults. Well done man, stick to arguing with Christians. You can win those arguments much easier than these. Those who would do us harm need to be hunted down and imprisoned. Blowing up whole countries does not stop terrorism, it causes it. Picking up innocent brown Arabic speakers and sending them to be tortured does not make our country safer. It makes it less safe. Here is some simple logic for you. Lowering ourselves to terroristic standards will not end terrorism. |

When, exactly, did we "declare" that we're a "torture country"? Did I miss that particular news conference? Whow as it that stepped up to a microphone and said "We, the United States, torture people"? The first idiotic assumption on your part was that these 39 people were even al'Quaida or even guilty of any crime whatsoever. In a country of due process, we respect the law of the land. Unfortunately, you don't see it the same way. The second assumption was to assume a nation that tortures would publicly announce it, as though it is necessary for a leader to concede torture in order to place a torture policy label on said nation. |

Here is some simple logic for you. Lowering ourselves to terroristic standards will not end terrorism. Frankly, I would rather see us lower our standards to their level, for a finite period of time, so we can kill as many of them as possible, then have us maintain our high standards, allowing them to kill as many of us as possible. Clearly, though, you'd rather see Americans die... |
