great... you want to train and arm those that come into our country illegally? But, it's not like the illegals are any more violent as a people group than the general U.S. population, so why the hysteria? |

Jim Brown There have been many murders that point to gangs formed by illegals but they can't prove it until they capture the suspects. Some cases that I am talking about is from the gang M13. |

So if we're not going to actually deport illegals the only solution can be to annex Mexico and force them to pay taxes. I was raised in Corpus Christi and when 80% of the population is mexican and most of them are illegals or related to illegals that are living in the US there's something wrong. Something is wrong but you're not getting the answer. Two things drive the American economy. And ever increasing desire for more profits and an ever increasing drive to lower the price for goods over time. It is interesting that your solution is the military conquering of a HUGE nation, essentially transforming America into Germany of the 30s instead of looking inward at excess and wastefulness in our own nation. How about actually paying Americans a living wage to do the jobs that immigrants do illegally. Yes it would mean higher prices for all of us, and it would mean less ridiculous profits at the top feeding the extravagent lifestyle of so many people in this country. But clearly the increasingly military approach to economic problems you're proposing is evidence that something HAS to give, for real. |

But we've done just that... not with a draft, but allowing illegals to sign up for the volunteer army. a good portion of the illegals are probably good decent people, but HOW can we know furr shurr? and whereas we certainly have a violent society, we at least know who everyone is in it... cuz they have ID cards... welll... hopefully anyway... |

I'm as conservative as the next guy, but I would just like to ask the hard-core, "build-a-wall" crowd who is going to hang and finish all the drywall in America if we close the border? granted he may want more money than the illegal alien and you'll have to pay workman's comp, payroll taxes and the like, but if you want to hire mexicans, why don't you MOVE to mexico... |

More Americans killed by illegal immigrants than in Iraq. Anarchy and societal breakdown in California has resulted in chaos at it’s borders causing crime and increased loss of life in other states. Northern and southeastern borders are secured to military magnitude with armed personal authorized to use deadly force . In any case given there are about 300 million Americans in the US I'd consider that a far more "target-rich environment" than Iraq. If illegal immigrants want to kill Americans then they're well advised to focus their efforts in the US rathern than Iraq. Aside from the logistical difficulties of getting to Iraq the fact is that most Americans are, well, in America and not Iraq. Umm hm. |

Yea I saw that while googling (Well actually google tends to hide this stuff, I used Ask…). My intent on the thread wasn’t so much to be specifically reporting of (Cool, I’m channel surfing and the shopping channel is modeling bathing suits!!!) crime itself caused by illegal immigration though, I was hoping my commentary on enforcement discrepancies might shine some light between those who tend to become responsible hard working citizen kept out and those who cater to drug traffic, financial slavery for border smuggling ect. allowed in to the point to where border agents face prison terms and the drug smugglers stay at the Hilton to testify against them.. I mean Fuck. |

Talk of a draft is proposterous, but we already do have over 20,000 illegal Mexicans serving in our armed forces. |
