The whole "liberal media" thing is bullshit, too.
No it's not; I know you want to believe something else but the facts just don't support it. For example;

• Nine Out of Ten Reporters Voted for Clinton: Rothman and Black’s survey closely matched a Freedom Forum poll of Washington bureau chiefs and congressional correspondents, which found 89 percent had voted for Clinton in the 1992 election, compared with seven percent for President Bush and two percent for Ross Perot. “In no state or region, among no race or class, did support for Clinton predominate more lopsidedly than among this sample of 139 journalists who either cover Congress or head a Washington bureau,” summarized Minneapolis Star-Tribune media writer Eric Black in an August 18, 1996 article. Again I know this information may shock, even anger, you. It's alright you should feel angry; you should feel betrayed.

Breaking news that the Major Liberal Media "mentioned", that N.Korea may be ready to give up their Nuclear ambitions!!

This has to be DEVASTATING to the bitch from NY and her Commie husband who built N.Korea up to destroy close Allies of America!!!

Now we need to keep all the Socialist-Progressive fucking Liberal traitors out of the picture and America will once again look GOOD!!!!!!
I have no idea what this has to do with Bush.

I do know Bush can be blamed for countries seeking nuclear protection, making the world a much more dangerous place.

Bush is the worst president in US history and its sad to see the desperate needs of his supporters attempting to correlate him with any "success".

American role in that is minimal...

It is Russia and China that give fuel to North Korea in exchange for denucleorisation of N.Korea.

America's part is... ahem... in unfreezing part of money that belong to N. Korea.

America's behavior once again is the behavior of a thief that return a part of stolen.

Once again you can see by your own eyes who works for the stabilization in the world and who just returns the part of what have been stolen.
So when it turns out that this is some type of scam, you will be blaming China and Russia for their failure? Or will American's minimal role still get us the lion's share of the blame?

These right-wingers are scrapping the barrel for good news.

First, it wasn't Bush or Rice who brokered this deal, it was Bill Clinton .. and the Chinese .. and the Russians ... and the South Koreans .. and the Japanese .. and the Germans.

Secondly, Cowboy Bush has been forced to bend over and have the US talk directly with North Korea, which the rest of the world said he should do, and Bush said he would never do ..

YET, before the 1994 Clinton-brokered deal can be signed, the right-wingers are jumping on it as if Bush had his way with North Korea.

Incredible .. but I most certainly understand why the right is scrapping for crumbs .. off Bill Clinton's table.

This is just too dumb, too funny.
How'd Clintons deal work out btw? Oh that's right we gave them reactors and technology and where'd that get us?

Democrats are such fools.

Yes we know there are a bunch of Bush haters.

Fortunately for the good ole US of A there are more red blooded flag waving americans that made the right decision. Bush has accomplished more for the cause of human freedom than the last 4 presidents combined. He's shown us that we don't have to run from terrorists who prey on the innocent and use fear to divide us.

Who am I talking to? These are the same people that refused to fight for independence from the crown. The same that refused to acknowledge the threat Hitler and Stalin presented. The same that got us into Vietnam and then cut and ran as soon as things turned south. I thank God every day that we live in this information age; that their lies and poison can no longer go unanswered. The media is in chaos, mass lay offs at every level. There's a reason for this. The people simply get numerous variations on stories they're interested in and make a decision for themselves. Once the baby boomers have passed away the filth that the 60's ushered in will be washed away.

Here is the actual deal:

N. Korea Agrees to Nuclear Disarmament - washingtonpost.com

1. North Korea shuts down and seals its main reactor within 60 days, then they get 50,000 tons of fuel
2. They disable it and declare all nuclear programs and get 950,000 tons of fuel
3. US and NK agree to normalize relations and resolve disputes, including taking NK off terrorist list and no longer freezing trade. Japan does the same

Im willing to give them 60 more days to prove they are willing to comply, but Im not hopeful as long as Kim Jong Il is in charge. Soon there will be another headline about NK claiming the US is acting hostile or something, and this is their excuse to back out. Or they wont let inspectors in, or they will go underground with their nuclear development again. As long as NK is a dictatorship, things wont change.

Bush has accomplished nothing more than playing with Al Queda:

"who can kill more people"

You see: his war on terror is a failure because JUST AS MANY people are dying, if not more.

This brings to the front the value of a war on terror: what do you think will be accomplished? Oh, less human casualty. But, if soldiers are still dying, and many more Iraqi's are dying - are you saving lives?

What about the reports that indicate a rise in terrorism?

You better think twice about assuming G W Bush has done a good job. People of the world are witnessing American hubris and wondering how one could support america's actions:

Not finding Osama bin Laden
Not finding WMD
Justifying Iraq invasion
Justifying Iraqi casualties as simply a matter of war

Each day, Bush loses. Each helicopter downing, soldier casket and Iraqi death: Bush loses.

These are the reasons Bush's presidency is hated. He is ineffective and short of credibility.

I am not convinced he has done anything more than put us and the world in danger.

I just watched Bolton on CNN and he's attacking the deal and even the Bush admin saying its exactly the kind of BS that failed during the Clinton admin. Personally I think Bolton's the idiot.

North Korea dosen't redeem him. Kim Jon Ill is just an insane human being who plays nice one minute and then dicks with us the next. He knows his country depends on trade, so of course, it's not some genuis breakthrough from Bush.

Your a piece of work, except for a few here!!
And a much BETTER "Piece of work" than those who agree with "Your" crap, (and whom to which I beleive you are referring)

Actually I don't agree with anyone who has thus far responded to this thread.:

This morning it was outlined on the news, just what the agreement was. and it appears that all we did is equivelent to paying a ransom to a Kidnapper and thus paving the way for, and assuring there will be other groups, and/or nations following suit. And all we got for it is a promise.

Bolton is right, but he has the advantage of not having to make a decision or play politics anymore. Bush is simply getting NK off our back so we can deal with other things. No one seriously believe that Kim Jong Il will ever change.

It is clear that the bootheel is a Mans World and that is one reason why they get so angry over gay rights issues. As for being very loving, I don't think sisters and 1rst cousins was what God had in mind, but ehy I could be wrong.

Now care to discuss the actual issue you raised, you know how the recent agreement is pretty much the same agreement as Clinton negotiated without all the antagonism in the meantime.

But didn't we spend the last 3 years complaining that the Clinton deal didn't work, which it didn't, and that was why Bush had to play hardball with the North Koreans? It seems to me this is exactly the kind of hardball he played with OBL as well. Talk a tough game then when it is clear you are not going to be able to accomplish your objective declare victory, or in OBL's case simply say you do not think about him much anymore. This is what you are defending?

No, I think he's quiet serious. Though I don't think this bit of good news has less to go with George than it does with North Korea, after all N. Korea always wanted to play nice just on their terms. They even offered the USS Pueblo if we'd go and talk on their terms. As for success in Iraq, don't anybody hold your breath. Bush may of failed the war with his mishandling of it, but the civil war is making sure that everything is never happily ever after till lots and lots of bloodshead is delt.
It makes me sick, famlies being murdered in their place of work, children afraid to go to school. I seriously doubt we'll have Iraq under control by 2008, especially since bombs and murders have become a normal way of life in Iraq. Things don't just change over night, and whoever wins in 2008 doesn't want anything to do with Iraq except in withdrawling troops.
