This is the way the war on terror is meant to be fought. Not by destroying whole countries as we have done in Iraq (where there weren't any terrorists to begin with even!). |

Yes, we all were impressed when president Clinton called the police after the first WTC bombings. We showed them boy. I bet they’ll think twice before trying that again… And wasn't Timothy McVeigh arrested, tried and executed for the Oklahoma City bombing? And isn't someone else on trial in connection with that one? And is the Unabomber in prison? And aren't various IRA terrorists in Northern Ireland in prison? And aren't ETA terrorists in Spain in prison? And wasn't the Bader-Meinhoff gang imprisoned? And so on. All done without bombing the crap out of anywhere. Looks like it might work I think. |

Sky News: Eight People Arrested In Terror Swoop Yes, the article said that the nine were "... believed to be of Pakistani origin..." and since Pakistan is arounf 98% Muslim, the odds are pretty good that all of these nine men are Muslims. But the article doesn't say that. What the article does say is that the target of the "alleged Iraq-style kidnapping and beheading plot" is - get ready for it - a MUSLIM. The act of terror that was apparently foiled was an act allegedly being plotted by nine men believed to be of Pakistani origin to abduct and behead "... a British Muslim soldier in his twenties who is now under police protection. But to put a sensational spin on this, not only are bits of information not confirmed given in this post as fact, but the one fact that is clearly given - that the target is a Muslim British soldier - is given as merely a UK soldier. That's fair and balanced enough to be on Fox "News"! |

[QUOTE=Rakkasan;906472]it is a good job by the police
QUOTE] I wonder who wrote this Fairy tale (if it is a Fairy Tale) Remember the huge threat uncovered in England about liquid explosives on planes, that caused a change on what kind of containers for liquids could be brought in board???(even tho it was later shown the the alleged proccess wouldn't work) Fear-mongering WORKS |

Or maybe this stuff actually happened........ I can see it now. A group of boys playing "King of the Mountain", and One says we're gonna kill you guys and chop your livers out. ---so it is overheard,--- the Bobbies show up with guns drawn and arrest the whole bunch. "WAAWLA" another terrorist plot stymied |

It's already starting to look bad for the coppers :
BBC NEWS | UK | Terror police granted more time And just remember : "We should remember the Forest Gate incident where what we talked about was suicide bombs and belts that were supposed to have been found in the place and, in the end, it all turned out to be absolutely 100% wrong." The day before yesterday, i.e. the day before the 'terror raid', Lord Levy, Blair's major fundraiser was arrested in the cash-for-honours scandal. And today, Blair himself was again interviewed by the police. Any relation to the other events is of course entirely coincidental. |

Sky News: Eight People Arrested In Terror Swoop
That's right more muslims from the peaceful religion of Islam planned to behead a UK soldier that had fought in Afghanistan. Varus |

Good job UK! I hope we catch all of these murderous thugs before they are able to kill again.
Describing Isalm as the 'religion of peace' seems rather silly and innappropriate to me. Maybe the 'Religion of PIECE or PIECES" would be more appropriate, given the predilection of some of its extremist members to remove the heads of non-believers? I wonder, why the obsession with be-heading? Maybe they are taught this by the Koran? Surely, we can expect condemnation of beheading by mainstream Muslim clerics, can't we? |

Sky News: Eight People Arrested In Terror Swoop Obviously these people represent the true face of christianity....or maybe they don't, which might mean that not all muslims are complete nutters either. I think we're quite capable of invoking our own hysteria over here in the UK without outside help. |

The UK Wiretapping is legal because they dont have a consitution. In the US democrats cry foul because Bush wants to do the samething UK is doing by wiretapping phone convertsations so we can catch terrorist. The Democrats now put the NSA monitored. If Al Queda attacks the US again Nancy Pelosi will be blamed not bush.
