The biggest travesty here is that she even supports a minimum wage. But I'm glad she's making herself look like a fool. Hopefully both the reps and dems will outstupid each other to make way for a competent party. How can anyone vote for these idiots? |

Are we supposed to expect our leaders to actually work? That there are Republicans crying "foul" over this is comical. They could've read the bill but, instead, voted without having a clue as to what they were voting on. The constituency, in every single district with a representative who voted without familiariaing themselves with the bill, should demand that the representatives be recalled. Should we expect our leaders to work? Yeah, I think we should. When they don't, we shouldn't have to wait until the next election cycle to get them out of office... |

As for myself. I am wondering why this even applies to US Possessions. They have a different financial basis. Tho of course Mexico is not a US Territory.
To consider Us posessions the same as the mainland, would be like legislating the same minimum wage for mexico However, I think we need to get more info on this before condemning, or concurring with the house bill. That's not partisan, that's called logic. |

Perhaps if we can cut out all the troublesome domestic entitlement programs that the left insists on throwing away money on we wouldn't have to worry about such budget deficits. |

Why should the minimum wage be raised? We righties may be a funny crowd but you lefties are a bunch of walking economic diseasters. In a perfect world, were people don't get too greedy, we wouldn't need minimum wage laws. But in the real world, because people can't agree on what "too greedy" is, we need a minimum wage law. |
