One great thing happened, two groups of Liberals and queers got the piss kicked out of them!! Now a handful of us Rednecks, will take them all on right in the middle of the Nation!! SPLCenter.org: Hate Groups Map Does the star spangled banner really have anything to do with it? The article mentions what they were wearing first and that people called them homos and faggots. I don't this this has anything to do with what they were singing and it has no political issues. |

I wonder if they will be charged with hate crimes? After all "faggot" and "homo" ? They know who did it and haven’t charged anyone, but I bet if patriots singing the “Star Spangled Banner” jumped on some anti-Americans there would have been immediate arrests and charges (I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get used to liberals in decision making capacity. ).… |

Nancy Pelosi is responsible for mass beatings in San Francisco? Have you taken your medicine today? And they still havn't arrested anyone. If a bunch of queers were brutally assaulted in San Fran do you think the police would have had any compuncture about arresting the perpetrators; especially when they know who it is? Again these are the type of people San Francisco produces. Well those and the place seems to be a bum magnet. Varus |

*clap clap* That's nice to know you support hate crimes. Don't worry you're not fooling anyone by supporting crimes against homosexuals what your orientation really is. Hmmm lets see you are racist...support hate crimes......a redneck...from missouri. So solve the mystery and tell us what hate group you belong to. And yes this was a politically motivated attack. They were heckling the Yale choir kids from the beginning for singing a patriotic song. Then one of the instigators followed them out and called 20 of his buddies to teach these kids a lesson. But because the attackers are well connected they havn't been arrested and thus far nothing has been done to remedy the situation. That is completely the responsibility of the local govn. They've chosen not to pursue any action due to the nature of the attacks. If even one of those Yale kids had been packing heat do you think they wouldn't be in jail this very second? Kind of like that black lady that falsely accused all those Duke players of rape. They were kicked off the team and booted out of school for the mere insinuation of guilt by racist prosecuting attorney who is now being investigated. Liberals could care less about freedom. If you don't believe and say what they want you to say they attack you both physically and verbally. Fortunately for me I live in the south where we know how to take care of their kind. Varus |

varrus, you must be so conflicted in how to put the most appropriate partisan spin on a non-partisan incident. On the one hand, you have some kids being attacked for singing the star spangled banner, and by San-Franciscans no-less, so clearly you should side with the singers. On the other hand, however, you have a bunch of high-fallutin' choirboy pussies from an elitist liberal institution getting their asses handed to them by people who call other people "faggots", so you've got to side with the tough guys as well. |

Could you give me an example, e.g. a quote of her, where she "fosters an enviroment" in which beating up people is OK? Highlights: - Sets guidelines that local units must meet in order to qualify for grants - Prohibits the use of block grant funds for the procurement of certain vehicles unless cleared by the Attorney General under special circumstances - Requires any local government unit to repay any funds not expended within two years of receipt Authorizes $10 billion over five years to carry out activities under this act, including: - Hiring, training and employing law enforcement and support personnel, including paying overtime to presently employed officers and personnel - Obtaining necessary operating equipment and technology - Establishing crime prevention programs and intervention programs for juveniles - Enhancing the security in and around schools and other “special risk” locations as determined by local governments - Supporting drug courts and developing drug control programs under the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1986 - Creating an inter-government task force to prevent and combat crime in adjacent localities, with a focus on drug- or gang-related criminal activities HR 728 She voted against this; Vote to pass a bill that relaxes the exclusionary rule by allowing evidence to be used in court if the police had a justifiable reason for obtaining the evidence without a search warrant . and this; HR 3: To combat violent youth crime and increase accountability for juvenile criminal offenses. Project Vote Smart - Representative Pelosi on Juvenile Crime bill Pelosi clearly doesn't think juvenile crimes need to be dealt with in a serious manner. Perhaps that's why these kids that attacked those choir boys believe they can get away with what they did. And in fact thus far have. Varus |

If they were attacked because of what they were singing, then I think it is reasonable to look at this as political violence by the far left. THe people here may indeed just be drunk assholes, but they are drunk assholes who appear to have grown up in a culture where the opposing political viewpoint was demonized much as jews are by anti-semites. |

Well, I agree with you about the "if" clause. If people were attacked for singing the star spangled banner (which I doubt) then it would, in fact, be a political message, and a very ugly one. Varus |

Reno Rapagnani, the owner of the house in which the party took place, said the violence seemed to erupt over a dispute between two rival college preparatory schools, St. Ignatius and Sacred Heart. The party was hosted by Rapagnani’s daughter Rose and Stephanie Soderborg ’09, both St. Ignatius alumni. Graduates from Sacred Heart interrupted the event, harassing members of the Baker’s Dozen for their formal dress and for the fact that they are not from San Francisco.

The political message isn't the act as much as how the local govn addresses the act. In this case the police have done absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. And when you look at how Pelosi's voted in regards to juvenile crime it's easy to see why. I know let's ignore varus and maybe he'll go away Varus |
