Default Democrats cut Billions in Pork
One of the first things the Democrats will have to do is pass the budget that this Congress just didn't have time for with their hectic 103 day work year, that's the equivalent to over twenty weeks of work..........
In order to speed up the process, they have will eliminate thousands of pork barrel projects, saving the taxpayers billions. Under the watchful eyes of the GOP, pork barrel spending exploded, with nearly ten times as many earmarks as when the Democrats last held the House gavel, well, all that's over now.

While I agree that there is far to much waste/pork spending going on, it isn't just the current admin that has had the problem.
Attached is a link that list each year.
I hope they do cut the pork, "and keep it cut"......

Your title state that this is something the Democrats have already done. When did they do it? There are any number of sources showing that Democrats are responsible for just as much pork as Republicans. Why didnt they stop their own pork when they were in the minority? Given that they didnt, why would they now?

Chances are that they'll try and cut the Republican pork but allow their bacon to splatter grease all over.

Whaaaaa- hahahahaha whaaaaa hahahahaha Ahaaaaaa ha ha ha ha ha. (Pictures scene in “Money Pit’ where Tom Hanks is laughing after the tub fell through the floor.)
Where do you guys get this stuff???
The only rebuttal to a loaded article smoke and mirroring abolishment of republican agenda “stalled illegally for 7 years“ would be!!! I don’t know, Bullshit!!! Counterfeit truth???
Under the watchful eyes of the GOP, pork barrel spending exploded, with nearly ten times as many earmarks as when the Democrats last held the House gavel. Yea, a country at war will do that. Tell us, what kind of person would see national defense as Pork barrel spending and the endowments for the arts giving 10’s of millions to people that consider art a Crucifix in a jar of urine or a lacquer coated old dirty gas station toilet with an American flag in it as necessity of living. Well, all that's over now. Now there’s something we all can agree on…

Under our new truth in titling program, this thread will be renamed "Democrats to cut Billions in Pork and replace it with Billions in other Pork"

Anyone who believes the Hill will be any different in terms of back-room deals, wasteful spending and corruption hasn't been paying attention for the last 60 or so years.

Particularly since nobody has ever even considered it.

Neither side wants to eliminate pork, they just want to control where it goes.

Always have, always will.

Tell me Comrade, when Tom Coburn and Jeff Flake introduced their amendments this past year to eliminate billions of dollars in pork spending, why did 99% of the Democrats vote against those amendments if they were so concerned about eliminating pork? Please, don't let the truth get in the way of what you wish reality to be.

Yep, this is a good question and it remains to be seen just how accurate the story "WILL" be.

Gee thanks, I'm happy I didn't disappoint you.

But I am sure that you are fully aware that the Dems can create as much pork as anyone.

Democrats take it out of one pocket and Republicans take it out of the other. I think it is time for political reform.

Democrats create pork.

Republicans create pork.

Republicans did nothing about it.

If Democrats trim the pork, they "win", and Republicans will try to take the credit...

Don't forget the Republicans that tried to stop it just about a year ago but it was shot down.......
I'll agree though, as I stated prior, there is far too much pork and I hope it does come to a stop....AND it remains stopped....and I really don't care which party does it.
