Changed thread title to Virigina quake. Seems it was a 5.9 magnitude quake over 3 miles beneath Mineral Virignina.
Folks all over the East cost thought there may have been bombing in or nearby their buildings. DC seemingly keeping people out of subway until inspections can be made, same with many buildings. There is a report there is concern the Washington monument may be tipping. Quake sparked evacuations in Canada as well. |

I just read that the quake appears to have been centered on the Bush's Fault! On a more informative note, some general information on the seismic state of Virginia. |

I just read that the quake appears to have been centered on the Bush's Fault! You can almost hear the Sunday sermons being written about God shaking things up in Washington. Letterman will likely blame it on Leno tonight. Kind of amazing if it really was felt in Detroit, no effect here in Texas except continuing triple digit heat and drought. |
