Default Weinergate
Congresscritter, married, caught with his pants down

Ah... Anthony Weiner. Couldn't happen to a more deserving fellow.

What's really sad is he has the gall to spin a tail with holes so large even the fawning press can't help but trip through. You know he's in a world of hurt when his introductory explanation is that a hacker found and posted the pictures of his junk he keeps on his computer, and he's hired a private lawyer to look into it to "save the taxpayers" the expense of an official investigation.

His goose is cooked. I suggest he saves us the trouble and take the Chris Lee approach.

Prediction: Republican misbehavior will be cited in an attempt to distract from the real issue, which is politicians sometimes use poor judgement just like the rest of us. What they do in congress should be an indicator of some of them possesing poor judgement.

Prediction: it won't effect him because Democrats don't hold their representatives to any moral standards. It's why Barny Frank can have a gay prostitution ring run out of his house or have is lover use his name to get people out of parking tickets or have marijuana found growing outside of his house. Is Barny Frank in danger of losing his job?...

Weiner said the picture may be him. That means it is.

That being said, we now can clearly see the negative effects on your man-region of doing blow.

He might survive this, but his trajectory has been deflected.
I heard him on the radio today, he's fucked, he might hang on, but any grander ambitions died.

You are confusing good hard working, honest, conservative Democrats like Hubert Humphries for instance, with those liberals you credit with saving the world. Neither I nor most other Americans seem to agree with your assessment .Kinda like they know that the mere 18% who are admitted liberals can't accomplish crap without their help.

Looking at where we are now would kinda make me think those liberals kinda screwed up.

Anthony Weiner has been all over the news the last couple of days. Apparently he has a Twitter account--as we are seeing that many politicians are using Facebook--Twitter and others to keep constituents informed of policy and what's going on.

Well it appears that either Weiner or possibly someone hacked his Twitter account--and sent out a picture of "someone"---(Face is not shown in picture) of guess what? A man in boxer shorts with the male genital area being shown.

Now what is astounding is Congressman Weiner will not answer direct questions about this picture--he will not call the FBI or any other agency who would be able to tell in 5 minutes who hacked his account and installed this picture. He will not bring up any investigation--and in fact--he doesn't even seem to be upset about it--

In fact--he's now just making jokes about it.--which would indicate to me--that he either posted it on Twitter by accident--as it was sent to a 21 year old female on the West coast--and not his wife--or he knows who did it and who had access to his Twitter account--and just doesn't want anyone to know who did it.

Are you kidding?

He won't be able to hold a public event without at least a dozen people waving these.

I totally disagree.

He made a mistake yesterday by not answering immediately to the questions, but he certainly came out today and the "hoopla" about this VERY minor infraction to his twitter account sound silly, and in a couple of days, all reasonable people will look back on this and wonder why the media has lost so much time on this non-issue!

Yep, that sounds about the type of silliness that tea party supporters would do!

But Congressman Wiener is used to his name. He probably was bullied all his teenage years because of his name, and he can certainly answer to anyone with gusto!

So, I wouldn't worry too much about it. In fact, I think he should adopt a rescued wiener dog and take him to some meetings!

I think he want's this story to die, because if it fails to withstand the light of day, his wife will take him to the cleaners.

Your post (not what you're stating) but you'r continual thread icon is very offensive to the women on this board--would you kindly remove it--before I report it.

If you want porn in your posts maybe you should find a thread that is less about politics and more about porn--and more in line with your intellectual ability--LOL.

"It certainly doesn’t look familiar to me, but I don’t want to say with certitude to you something that I don’t know to be the certain truth.” Weiner told CNN in an interview.

For a tweeter post???

If that is the case, "marriage" has been dead for a long time!

If a woman can leave a man for a tweeter post that may or may not be his to begin with. . .she has WANTED to leave him for awhile!

Now, if it was the type of insults McCain gave his wife (calling her a cunt in front of a 1/2 dozen people), then I would understand if she took him to the cleaners. .but Cindy didn't, did she?
