Default Osama Bin Laden Confirmed Dead
Some big announcement coming up right now. Various reporters saying US has Bin Ladens body.

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/osama-...ry?id=13505703

Osama bin Laden, hunted as the mastermind behind the worst-ever terrorist attack on U.S. soil, has been killed, sources told ABC News.

His death brings to an end a tumultuous life that saw bin Laden go from being the carefree son of a Saudi billionaire, to terrorist leader and the most wanted man in the world.

Bin Laden created and funded the al Qaeda terror network, which was responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. The Saudi exile had been a man on the run since the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan overthrew the ruling Taliban regime, which harbored bin Laden.

Ill give the partisans a head start.

Democrats - this was all obamas doing. he personally found osama and killed him, vote Obama
Republicans - obama had nothing to do with it, and he hasnt mattered for years, but this is proof that bombs solve problems, not words

I am watching all this now across the networks, just about everything is being interrupted to talk about it. Still waiting for details on what happened.

Apparently he was killed in a missile strike about a week ago.

Well if Osama is dead on Obama's watch, he gets the credit.

And yes, bombs tend to end arguments a lot more convincingly. Especially if you use enough of them.

Outstanding. And sure, it's a victory for Obama and it should be. He resisted calls from the surrender faction of his party to pull out of Afghanistan while bin laden was still at large. They whined, "But he's in Pakistan! Wahhhh!!!" Well, those wankers are now fully discredited.

YES-YES-YES---I am watching CNN--apparently he was in a mansion right outside of Islamabad--so much for the theory he was living and hiding in caves.

This doesn't look good for Pakistan. How many billions do we send them each year?

Obama's takin' care of past administrations' business. Bin Laden's been taken out(Bush), Qaddafi's on his way to his funeral(Reagan). If I was the Vietnamese, I'd be pretty nervous right now.

By using a neocon warhawk strategy. Interesting.

Assuming an american pulled the trigger, imagine what a hero they will be. Unless its CIA or specops, in which case we'll never know who.

Good riddance to the fucker, hopefully the kill is confirmed, and hopefully this is the beginning of the end of al qaeda. Hopefully they got a bunch of intelligence from the location afterwards.

jvie is right, this will be thrown around as a partisan issue.

The beginning of the end was in 2001 when we invaded afghanistan. AQ really hasnt done much since then and weve killed thousands of them. This is a great morale boost, but theres always another islamic fascist.

That is a totally uncalled for statement. Do you really think that the Vietnamese are our enemy?
