I think you have it backward, the T Party don't want the KKK around because they are nuts. I mean who would ever want the KKK to endorse them. I don't think anybody is running to the KKK asking for their endorsement to run for anything.
I was just thinking, If blacks tried to join (Just to f_ck with them.), wouldn’t they have to allow it or be sued? http://www.uspoliticsonline.net/imag...es/biggrin.gif

My understanding is that a substantial number of them are Afro-Americans, as you can sign up by mail. The membership certificate they send is a sort of basement trophy for many blacks with an (albeit somewhat twisted, but that's the whole idea) sense of humor.

They don't HAVE to admit blacks, as they don't accept nor get (hopefully) any sort of government support or help.

Believe me--the Tea Party in this country would not accept any member of the KKK either--LOL
AFAIK the Tea Party does not exist as a recognized political organisation in any state. If they do, they certainly don't function as such. All of their members now in Congress ran as Republicans in both Primary and General elections and if you ever find any of their mythical Democrat members please send them to any zoo with unicorns.

The KKK is a secret society. I don't believe you have to disclose any such membership to run for political office and the whole idea of being in one is that you're not supposed to tell anybody.

Only a fool takes the KKK view of what is a nut.

Byrd was one.

avodeinst 04-26-2011 05:30 AM

The Klan must be really angry about the tea party co-opting so much of their membership.

True, and he later claimed it was because everyone who was anyone was in them, which was total bs. My great grandfather knew them as the "Knights of the White Camellia" and said they were a bunch of ignorant rednecks as much in the 1920's as they are in the present day. What they had that Byrd wanted was money, since they were actually in control of a great deal of the organized crime in the South before the Mafia took over.

Any possibility of you providing evidence of this claim, or are you simply trying to match the KKK's bigotry towards those they dislike?

Yeah, the TEA Party people are nutjobs. Sane people generally have no objection to paying more and more in taxes to underfund a government that spends 40% more annually than it takes in. A lot of these sane people are ultra rich hollywood liberals that use their fame pulpit to criticize anything non liberal. They should set a proper example and voluntarily contribute at , say, a 75% income tax rate to show their patriotism and good will for the have nots. Why wait for government mandates to redistribute wealth? F'n go for it...........all of you anti TEA people.........don't tell us, SHOW us.
Yep, an "I'm TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY" attitude is a tell tale sign of a warped mind, fo sho. http://www.uspoliticsonline.net/images/smilies/lol.gif
So lemme get this straight; you want Hollywood liberals to pay higher taxes so Michele Bachmann can afford to keep getting a quarter million in corporate subsidies every year for her family farm?

He raises a valid point - there is nothing stopping those who advocate much higher tax rates from contributing more money right now. Except, perhaps, hypocrisy.

This is a completely nonsensical post. Your post and link are practically unrelated. You link to some blog, and nowhere does it indicate that the KKK thinks that the Westboro Baptist Church is "nuts"

If it had, then your point is what? It's a bad thing to not be well thought of by the KKK? Then we should understand that you think it is a good thing to be well thought of by the KKK?

There does seem to be a little demographic overlap there. Although just a few decades ago every tea party member would have been a Klan supporter.

oWell how do you know that tea party members decades ago would have been racist or a Klan supporter? Do you have a crystal ball that can look into the past?--http://www.uspoliticsonline.net/images/smilies/lol.gif

The tea party movement is about taxes and government spending--that's it. And I imagine that's the way it's been for decades. You know the Boston Tea Party was throwing their tea overboard because they didn't want to get taxed on it. It was a protest over taxes--not blacks.

In fact if you ever decide to go to a Tea Party rally you will see blacks--asians and every race and culture living in this country there. In fact some of the Tea Parties best speakers are black.

The tea party sounds like someone desperate to appear socially enlightened with claims of "some of my best friends are black".

Anatolii 04-27-2011 05:37 AM

Oreo, you may wish to revisit your history concerning the Boston Tea Party.

I find it insulting and very educational how because I relise that progressives are an enemy to my freedom and this republic that I must be a racist.............And yet the one screaming for the Israelis to be punised and killed is progressives not Conservatives.

You mean, they would have been Democrats? Somehow I can't picture Herman Cain at a DNC meeting or klan rally.
