Welcome to the new economy. Workers in the private sector have been hit with these sorts of cuts for some time. Public sector budgets are shrinking, so there are two choices:

1. Across the board cuts for public sector workers, or
2. No cuts, but some percentage of public sector workers are laid off.

It's just reality - there's less money for staffing, and that's not going to change any time soon.

Matt
And of course, the corporations want those tax cuts they get, at the expense of having money for schools and public projects.

No, they want to grow and remove impediments to growth which the above seem to prevent. Public projects which target a minorty is only wealth distribution. This is an inhibitor to growth and stifles inovation. As far as schools, public schools get worse and worse and that is the direct result of unions and Liberal policies in general. All public sector unions should be banned except those whose job calls for them to be placed in harm's way.

Ahh yes, blame the liberals even though this has been occurring through countless GOP governments, local state and national. So much for valid input, instead of partisan rhetoric.

If you can't see the wealth distribution from the poor and middle class to the upper 5 %, than words and facts mean nothing to you.

What minority is these public projects that you say is wealth distribution? Would that be the most wealthy 5% than keep increasing their percentage of total money?

These tax cuts were to big business and for profit alone. They fully expect jobs and demands for their services to grow, so claim it's for job growth. Very easy to figure out, if you get past the partisanship.

Having to do with Walker's persecution of unions in WI, but having much to do with Ohio, Indiana and every one of us in the long run that had and have advantages brought forth by individuals who fought and suffered to bring us unions.

You might want to consider removing the 3 stooges image from your signature, because it makes me subconstiously associate you with them.

I had not considered that, and certainly do not wish to be associated with any of these 3. Thanks for mentioning it.
