WI protests vs Bahrain protests

A few different points to be made here.
1) Videa from Bahrain: protesters throwing rocks
Protesters in WI, marching peacibly.
Again the Muslim culture raises its ugly violent head.

2) Dems in WI have run off, claiming the Governor is ramrodding thru in a rush a bill that is ant-union http://www.uspoliticsonline.net/imag...ies/crying.gif

Points. Ramrodding thru in a rush is the MO of BO, with Stimulus and HealthCare Bills. Apparently what is good for the goose, is not good for the gander. Ironic!http://www.uspoliticsonline.net/imag...s/rolleyes.gifhttp://www.uspoliticsonline.net/imag...s/rolleyes.gif

How many of the Wisconsin protesters have been killed by their own government?

How many of them have been living under a dictatorship for decades?

Oh, that's right, it must be a Muslim thing?

For chrissakes, George, an educated man should be able to differentiate between a protest about job conditions and a protest about living under despotism.

bactrimtab 02-17-2011 08:02 PM

The funny part is the fucking idiots in Wisconsin are attempting to draw parallels to Egypt, attempting to portray themselves as upholders of liberty and freedom.

Unions are not liberating one bit, considering union members are like fucking puppets. They're told who to vote for, when to work, when to strike, how hard to work, what positions to take, when to protest etc.... There is nothing liberating about a union. They're all groupthink Nazi's. Not to mention what "freedom" do labor unions stand for???

Then the coward liberal legislators run way like little girls......

It really demonstrates how fucked in the head and cowardice the typical liberal actually is.

Hmm.

What are you, then?

Certainly not a liberal...

Did you see republicans refusing to vote when liberals had nearly 2 years of a super majority???

Liberals passed whatever the fuck they wanted, at least republicans SHOWED UP TO VOTE!!!!

Then the fucking unions outside the Wisconsin capitol had the goddamn audacity to chant about democracy while their democratically elected officials ran the fuck away???

It reminds me of how prop8 was democratically passed and the fucking LIBERALS said "fuck democracy" and ran to the courts..

Liberals routinely demonstrate how little they care about democracy - they only give a fuck about it if it works in their favor, but when it doesn't they throw fucking fits like you're seeing today in Wisconsin by both the protesters and those coward liberal legislators.

Please, when did the Democrats have a supermajority in Wisconsin?

Oh, wait, they didn't?

Are you talking out of your ass again?

Oh, and I'm really sorry that you fell asleep during school and missed how the 3 branches of government work. How the courts are used to determine constitutionality, and that the mere popularity of a ballot initiative isn't sufficient to make something constitutional.

But, I really do appreciate the comic relief. Reading your posts is quite humorous.

I'm sure if you had put segregation to a vote, it would have passed back in 1960.

Just because something is popular doesn't make it constitutional, and vice versa.

Does it really matter if its at the state or federal level?????

I'm merely pointing out how republicans (or non-liberals) didn't refuse to vote, then run away when the shoe was on the other foot...

Maybe we could get a collection together and buy ol' Nick a clue?

What, praytell, do you suppose a filibuster is, Mr.Nick, if not a refusal to vote?

Now, you may have to stop soon, my cheeks hurt.

No, they're just greedy fools who dont give two fucks about the state and its finances just as long as they're getting paid their 90k salaries and their 90k pensions along with their free health care..

Of course they want taxes raised because their fucking taxes go right back into their pockets.

What they are is drains on society that would amount to nothing if they weren't protected by union thugs and constant threats of walkouts.

Fuck them...

Liberals had a filibuster proof super majority until Scott Brown.

Do we need to buy you a new memory?

choollaBard 02-17-2011 08:42 PM

I gotta agree with Mr. Nick, only a fuckin itiot would compare the protests in Wisconsin to those in the middle east.

Really, Nick?

From which orifice did you pull that $90,000 salary number?

From its smell, it wasn't a pleasant one.

You might, however, want to start here, in reality:

Statistical Information Center - School Staff and Salary Data.

There you'll find the average teacher salary under $50,000.

Oh, and taxes paid on income don't just magically go back to the teacher's paycheck. They go into the general fund, just like everyone else's taxes. That's how taxes, you know, work.

Now, have you actually gotten anything right, ever?

Just curious.

Liberals have a bad habit of interpreting the constitution whichever way suits their liberal position.

Facts are most progressives wouldn't give two shits about what the constitution says..

Oh, man, you're killin me. Sam Kinison had nothing on you.

First, democrat liberal. I know that you're probably not capable of anything but binary thinking, but I'm gonna throw that out there, just in case.

Second, if it was filibuster proof, how is it that the GOP had more filibusters than, well, ever seen in history? Hmm?

babopeddy 02-17-2011 08:46 PM

And the LIBS line up with their predictable, robatic, specious arguments!!!!

Shock me once,, just once with independant thought.
