Are you advocating genocide against Muslims?
OK, who is advocating genocide against muslims? Name names.

I was asking, actually. It's a logical conclusion from a lot of what you post, and from the OP. I mean, here we have some people who have whipped a teenage girl to death for being a rape victim. I suspect that in a lot of states here in the U.S., doing that might get a person the death penalty.

So if you're going to blame this on Islam generally, rather than just on those particular asswipes, does that mean you're calling for the death penalty for all Muslims as complicit in this crime or others like it, and hence genocide?

It's a logical conclusion, as I said, but people aren't always logical. So you tell me: ARE you advocating genocide against Muslims?

If not, exactly what are you in favor of doing? Just hatin' on 'em generally? Or something more definite?

Did you just fall into a vat of rum or something. I suggest you remove my inclusion from the above post or provide links to the things you have accused me of saying. Or did you not read the TOS either~

We have seen plenty of muslim on muslim genocide. A muslim on muslim killing was the topic of this thread. Yet, you want to blame non muslims for it.

How far uphill do you think you can push that train before you fall down and get run over by it.
You don't get it. Evil, barbaric and violent atrocities are commited because humans are terrible beings. When raw human nature comes forth people do horrible things.
Religion/Islam is not the reason. Religion is merely taken as the justification of atrocities. Now Terrorists take Islam. In the past is was often CHristianity.
The reason why you don't see Christians in America engaging in honor killings is beause Americans live under a stable legal order. But it has nothing to with Christianity being such a peaceful religion. Because it is not!

CIAFreeAgent 05-02-2011 06:58 PM

I have a lot of problems with all of this.
One side: the "kill the fuckers" side. No. Human life should be sacred in all religions. It's ironic that a horrible death of an innocent is somehow justification for more violence. The community in Bangladesh should realize that this is wrong. The other tragedy is that nobody stood up for this girl. I can’t bring her back, but I would take the lashes for her. I would. I really hate this story.

The other side: I’m tired of equating Judeo-Christian ethics with Islam. I don’t think it is a theological issue, but a cultural issue. “Judge a tree by the fruit it bears”. Do you really think western culture is evil? Do you really think Judeo-Christian theology and culture is evil? Then I would ask you to look at “the fruit it bears”. The United States is the most generous nation in the world. And when Hurricane Katrina happened, who came to support the US? (Rhetorical.) We have a culture in the United States that actually does support women’s rights. We do place a very high value on human life. I like our culture, because of “the fruit it bears”.

I’m not impressed with Islam because of stories like these. I really would take her lashes, it makes me so sad. But where is the outcry. Does anybody in the Islamic community care? Women are your sisters. Women are your mothers.

Sorry. Rape is a crime that I don’t think gets enough attention. And for this poor girl to die for being raped is unforgivable. I really want to forgive these guys, but I’m not quite there.

So you're not going to answer my question? It's really simple. I'm asking if you are, in fact, advocating genocide against Muslims. If you're not, just say, "No, I don't advocate genocide against Muslims," and I'll take your word for it.

So long as you refuse to do so, I'm afraid the suspicion will persist.

Actually, you have accused me of something. You need to get your ass in gear and find posts of mine which prove what you have accused me of. BTW: this thread is not a poll. But I see that in your twisted thinking anyone who doesn't answer your nonexistent poll advocates muslim genocide. That is some kind of fucked up thinking.

Presenting this a "Muslim" thing is like presenting the Lord's Resistance Army as a typical Christian thing.
Which of course it is, which is why I favor the extermination of all Muslims and Christians. The world will be better off without those barbarians infesting it.

Christians are bad guys. And you are so elevated in your wisdom that you deem them worthless and should be killed. Is that what you are saying?

I said that religion is not the reason for little girls getting raped.
Religion may however be used to justify cruel actions. Muslims do it. Christians do it.

Check this out: A gay-rights activist was killed last week in Uganda. He was slaughtered with a hammer in cold blood.

Incorrect. I have asked if you were advocating genocide against Muslims. A question is not an accusation. I have also pointed out that that is the logical conclusion from things you clearly DO imply, namely that Islam is to blame for this young girl's murder. However, that doesn't mean you really do advocate genocide. Perhaps you simply hadn't thought it through all the way. It remains a question.

But I see that in your twisted thinking anyone who doesn't answer your nonexistent poll advocates muslim genocide. It's really not a hard question. If someone were to ask me whether I advocate genocide of, say, Evangelical Christians, I could answer unequivocally, "No, I don't advocate anything of the kind! That's a horrible idea!" I don't see why you can't say the same thing about genocide against Muslims.

I'm just saying that if you want to kill people of a particular flavor of belief because of something that some members of that particular belief do, then why not kill everyone who belongs to a a religion that has had a member do something nasty.

Because then you are far away from reality. Not every rapist is a muslim, you know

OK. So believing in Jesus Christ is the problem. Do you see the problem in the logic? No, being a Christian doesn't make you a rapist. No, being a Muslim doesn't make you rapist. It's a culture that doesn't respect and protect women. And it's a culture that doesn't seem to be upset when this happens.
