Default Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif criticise PPP leadership
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief, Imran Khan, and PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif, on Thursday criticised the ruling PPP leadership and urged President Zardari to ensure free and fair polls in the country, SAMAA reports.

Talking to newsmen at Karachi airport, Khan said “I’m sure that status of a new Prime Minister will not be more than a servant of President Zardari. No one is eligible among those who have been nominated for Prime Ministership.”

He termed the ruling coalition as ‘failed parties’ and called for free and fair elections in the country.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-N chief vowed to issue general election schedule once PML-N candidate is elected as PM.

“PPP should think about bringing back six billion rupees from Swiss banks, rather than making prime ministers scapegoats,” Sharif said while addressing a news conference in the federal capital. -- SAMAA
