According to the sources, the incident took place when the wedding bus, carrying more than 100 people returning to Chakwal after the wedding ceremony, fell into a valley some 25 kilometers from Kahuta. Resultantly, 23 people were killed more than 70 others wounded.
The rescuers and the local people rushed to the spot and started shifting people to hospitals. Dead bodies and the injured people were taken out from the bus after cutting the parts of the bus.
CPO Rawalpindi Azhar Hameed Rawalpindi said that investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the incident.
